Well, for Malaysia is not that strict, you can sign your kids in with other PPL cards. Chargeable if above 3 years old if I'm not mistaken.
*
if i understand correctly .. for exp: if i bring my kid to PPL, then i charge 1 entry to ambank WMC and the other to Public Visa Signature. correct? rclxms.gif

I couldn't find the 0% BT promo anywhere - there are quite a few promos, but all with interest attached. Haven't done Ambank BT before, and have held my card for 6 months already.
*
early this year, there was a 12-months 0% BT available , together with the Cash Back RM388 promotion.
Looks like it s no longer available now.

Ah OK. I got the RM388, but didn't have any BTs to do at that time. Now the new school term is coming up so I'm thinking to pay everything upfront and get early bird discount, then BT over 12 months. Right now the only 0% available to me is PBB and AEON, but both 6 months only.
*
maybe you can consider PB flexiplan. take the best case, amount >2K, fexipay tenure 9 months. 0% interest.

But in term of AmBank's benefits, it should be the same. hmm.gif
*
yep, benefit wise it's the same.

but for required income for the card application, it's a bit different.
In the application form:- VI is RM150K, WMC is RM100K
in the website: VI is RM120K, WMC is RM120K

Just to share, I applied for my principal and 2 supplementary cards in July via email with no issue. Emailed amcard-csd@ambankgroup.com and was contacted the next day to verify. Process was fast and painless.

sorry guys... im a bit stupid. just to make things clear.
first apply BT at ambank to HLB credit card. Ambank will then pay HLB CC account the amount.
second, transfer the amount in HLB CC account to any other account e.g. saving account at MBB via IGB.
third, get the cash at saving account and pay the monthly installment BT at ambank.

am i correct? for sure i understand the risk. i just wanna confirm the whole process that you guys mentioned.

thanks.

Hello all,
that day i called CS to check the SMS alert for CC transaction. Accordingly to the CS, it was set RM1000 by default and it cannot be changed to lower amount.
i have other bank CC .e.g. HLB where i can set the SMS alert as low as RM1.00.
do you guys have this issue?

...- HLB: Excess credit can be offset against other cards and transferred to HLB or other bank saving accounts (no charges incurred). Based on the amounts I transferred (always less than RM10k), just a telephone call will do.
....
@lilsunflower , i was informed today that the above transaction CANNOT be done. Reason is new BNM rules. dunno how true is that.
so, for those who plan to transfer excess credit from HLB CC to HLB saving... pls take note.

I didnt get the SMS for a RM800 swipe. CS said the SMS is based on their preset criteria. Needless to say, I have filed a complaint to BNM

hi, i am interested to know the outcome. i called CS few months back asking about lowering the trigger limit. And was told that they can't set the lower trigger limit like other bank. There is nothing they can do about it.
