Anybody did BT from Ambank before? I called in last friday to apply and was told by the CR that their BT officer will call me within a few days and it'll take 14 working days for the funds to be transferred over to the other card. Oh man, I should have applied earlier, my OCBC card payment due date is on 1st Aug.

Was extended to mid may if I'm not mistaken as my application was early/mid may and my agent told that I can still get the 388 cashback. Will update if I get it.

Ambank's premier card services are really impeccable. Requested for BT on 22nd, funds in on 28th. I had to call them a 2nd time to remind them that my payment due date is 1st august. CR gave me the standard reply it takes 7-14 working days. I told as a premier customer, I expect a little more from you guys. And voila it's done!

Just received the RM388 rebate for the new sign up promo today. Looks like the agent who signed me up was right after all as my card was approved only in early May.

Lucky us, as some of the forummers here said those cards approved in May will not qualify for the rebate.

Got mixed answers regarding that. Was told approval date by CR at card centre, application date by the card agent. Anyway im grateful that I got the rebate, no complains biggrin.gif

Ur overseas transaction is online based? Do take note that Ambank only award 5X points for real physical overseas transaction, online transactions does not count.

And for the balance transfer, all u need to do is to give their CR a call, tell them the amount u want to BT, the card no and it's done.

The hilton premium club membership offered by Ambank is different from the one that they are selling outside. I'm a HPC member, the free stay voucher is not available with the Ambank HPC.

I applied my card thru this agent, efficient and got my WMC application done within a week or so. You can reach her at c0002589@ambankgroup.com (Wati)

But for overseas applicant, it's gonna be a little more troublesome. Ambank has this policy of calling the card applicant to verify your application before they can proceed further, happened to my supp who is working overseas. Had to get ambank to email for verification instead. So expect some delay in ur case.

For my case, the officer asked whether the supp card user has a local phone number to call haha. Or she asked to return her call.

They know approve both cards at one go if you qualify for any of the one cards. Similar to the M2 premier cards.

Choice is yours, both cards share the same limit though and free for life AF, so I dont see why u need to cancel one. Visa inifinite & WMC has their own perks at times.
