Sharing my experience with you guys. Applied balance transfer through Ambank with 0% interest rate (no hiding fee) about 30k for 12 months installment but only allowed to transfer to other banks credit card account. Fortunately, I manage to transfer out the 30k from credit card account to my current account. It seems I can just apply earn some $$ by placing the fund into FD. 😄

Yes. Surprisingly totally no cost at all! I think this is the promotion I guess.i transfer to hongleong and UOB. No need to provide bank statement, just the credit card number will do. I requested it over the phone. Thereafter, I called hongleong and UOB to make a transfer, both help to transfer to my other banks currency account with RM 0.11 IBG charge.

i believe all the banks allow to do the same. i had experienced before accidentally transfer twice to alliance bank and they also did the same.

The only one I tried was HLB to MBB, and they didn't ask for anything jus account number. Simple phone call and no charges. I was super surprised!

No.. This one was PBB (or AEON) BT.  Excess HL to MBB. About 5 weeks ago.

Second time was MBB BT, but I opened a HLB account just before that.

Sounds like a good strategy.

Just a little word of caution (although you probably don't need it). Before I do all these transfers to CASA, I always think of back up plan just in case bank suddenly doesn't allow and money gets stuck in the CC.

For me, I'm not sure worried about money being stuck in PBB VS because monthly expenditure on all my PBB principal plus supp will definitely be RM10k plus (within this, got monthly BT instalment of 6k). So worst case scenario is one month of excess credit.

For HLB, I have Wise and Fortune CC which will usually hit 6k per month. Again, money won't be stuck long.

I don't dare to transfer to cards like Citibank or UOB where I spend less than 1K and hardly use. Then will really have headache if money stuck there.

The above is just for precaution... But in all my cases with PBB, HLB and MBA, never had an issue. I've tried several times with each of those named banks.

Second thing, I asked about the B1F1, the CS kept saying it is for selected customers. I asked why someone got written confirmation that it is due to our mailing address is not based in KL, Selangor and Penang? I said this is discrimination. As if we will not go to these places... In addition, they have record of my office address which clearly shows in KL... I already raised a dispute.

Depend on how bank evaluate your DSR ba.
Maybe your credit limit quota had reached align with your total income though.
Try to reduce some bank CL, and try to apply again.
I got feeling next year you will be approved. 

it would be best if you try to call them.
maybe they have other option, e.g. issue cheque for you
