yes, i see the same....which is a bugger, as it fragments up the points...what i think i will do is just stick to one card and drawer the other....looks like wmc has the lowest currency conversion rate, so the infinite goes into cold storage...

QUOTE(limeuu @ Nov 4 2016, 11:41 AM) for the "free for life" infinite and world cards, there is actually an annual fee of rm688 plus gst, which is then automatically reversed....fyi every year also mine is like this. charged then immediately waived. i believed other card also like that, coz my wife using plat also have it in the statement.QUOTE(limeuu @ Nov 6 2016, 11:36 PM) right....so use ambank cc for gov transactions (1 point per rm)....and use maybank cc for petrol (1 point per rm)... a bit off topic but, u can use other card's for cashback on govt and petrol |

I just got to know that we need to make separate payments to both principal & supplementary cards, I thought just pay the principal the full amount and AmBank will sort out the rest.
I thought this is strange as both cards com at the same statement but the CS insisted that because both principal & supplementary cards are different 'class', hence we need to make separate payments. FYI, I am referring to WMC. |

Ambank CS have always said that you need to make separate payments. HOWEVER, if you really want to make only one payment, you can pay all to your principal and ask Ambank CS to transfer the respective amounts to your supplementary cards. This is what I do sometimes when the amounts on supps are very small. However, make sure you do this well in advance of your payment due date.I thought this is strange as both cards com at the same statement but the CS insisted that because both principal & supplementary cards are different 'class', hence we need to make separate payments. Combined everything to get the RM100 rebate. |

I will need to get them to do this...they are processing my supp applications, and asking a lot of questions....other banks never need to contact supp applicants...after all, they are supps and I tanggung everything...Principal can request for all the supp points to be transferred to principal for redemption. They did the same for me and insisted to call my supps to verify. One of my supps was overseas, so took a long long time. |

i don't understand ambank's policy....they appear to treat supps as separate entities, and want to verify them like principals, and then also treat the account as separate, to be paid separately....are they treating supps like principals too?....
