Just got off the phone with a (SUPER HELPFUL) CS. She said my card was just sent out last week via normal mail. And sometimes the PIN can arrive quicker, as its 2 different departments processing and sending the PINs and new cards.

So I just have to wait 5 working days or so before calling again.

Used my Ambank B1F1 app for the first time at a dining outlet, the Daily Grind in Bangsar.

Was very good value for 2 triple decker burgers. Paid RM45 including taxes and burgers were huge. Initially thought I would never use the app, but now may return and also try a few places.

Anyone else used the app and any recommendations?

Ahh. I noticed that the hardcopy booklet DOESN'T have Ma Maison Tonkatsu, but the app has it.

How many times can you use the app "vouchers"? I notice there are 3 - does it mean can redeem 3 times?

Ambank CS have always said that you need to make separate payments. HOWEVER, if you really want to make only one payment, you can pay all to your principal and ask Ambank CS to transfer the respective amounts to your supplementary cards. This is what I do sometimes when the amounts on supps are very small. However, make sure you do this well in advance of your payment due date.

Principal can request for all the supp points to be transferred to principal for redemption. I did this for the recent redemption. Combined everything to get the RM100 rebate.

They did the same for me and insisted to call my supps to verify. One of my supps was overseas, so took a long long time.

It's just their process and policy which they are free to determine. I agree it is not efficient or logical, but that's their system.

CS will just tell you there's nothing that can be done.

Just enjoyed another B1F1 dinner at Neroteca Damansara Heights. Was really worth it. I wouldn't go to these places normally without the offer. But we had a great time at an affordable price. Thanks Ambank.

Yes, one main / pizza / pasta, same or cheaper price is free.

I brought my 2.5 year old and she ate pasta, pizza and lamb. I probably wouldn't go on weekends because likely to be crowded and the main clientele seems to be yuppies, and more affluent couples / groups of single friends. We were the only family tonight. My mum enjoyed it.

I wouldn't go again if had to pay full price, but at half price it is worth trying and we cleared the plates. Everyone was satisfied. Parking on weekday was easy - right in front of the restaurant.

Speaking of B1F1, did you manage to get CS to send you The Entertainer app code / booklet? I didn't realise that some people actually pay subscriptions to The Entertainer to access the B1F1 deals.

I use mine nearly every weekend to try new places. Total bills for dining usually less than RM50 for 2 people.

Exactly. Cardholders should be entitled to say benefits regardless of location. Same terms and conditions, so shouldn't discriminate.

Think my PIN & PAY card has been lost in the post / returned twice already. I keep telling them to mail drop instead of sending by stupid lazy Pos Laju (who never even shows up, never leaves a card, just return to office). Anyway, will just leave them to deal with it. Its the only bank who hasn't issued my new card yet.

My card has been sent and returned TWICE already via Pos Laju. They asked me to go all the way to Cheras to collect. Forget it.

I asked them to retrieve it and I can collect from the Ambank branch near my house or office.

Really crazy.
