anyone know if the CC PIN can be changed other than ATM?
I called the CS to activate my card and they told me PIN only can be changed via ATM.

They able to send the CC to me at my overseas address but PIN must be done in Ambank ATM, this makes me wonder it seems that I can't use this CC unless I go back to Malaysia once, haha.

Also.... without PIN still can go in airport lounge?
I saw some airport lounge accepting WMC/VI but not in Ambank list, anyone tried before?

AmBank CS told me oversea transaction will be blocked by default and I need to contact the AmBank CS to inform them whenever I want to travel. Else I'll have to call back AmBank from oversea to unblock any transaction swipe by the card. The CS said this is for security purpose reason. Did you guys inform CS before travel?

For Ambank credit card may I know what is the lowest amount we can set the sms notification trigger amount? CS insists rm500, cannot set any lower. Anyone here manage to set it lower than 500 ?

Wow... totally forgot to pay my card last month. Only remember after a day late. No grace period. RM19 late payment charges. Even then, I was sleepy and only pay minimum. Incurred another RM33 interest charge.

Really pain... but I accepted it was my fault. Luckily it was a CARZ and the petrol rebate somewhat saved me. RM22 petrol cash back is not bad at all. Usually only get RM8 or so.

One day is when I do the online transfer. I checked and it seem only got through 2 days later. I would have go and bank in had I not messed up the payment. I thought I owe RM96 only so think at most RM5 or 10. I only realized that I was paying minimum when I login to ambank to check again. Luckily I didn't spent much on the card last month. Nvm... one tonkatsu double prawn more than make up for the losses. Still a worthy card.

BTW, I notice that this thread is not as hot as other thread e.g. Maybank, Citibank, UOB etc. Is it because Ambank cards are difficult to get, or less people use Ambank cards?

I have successfully set my SMS alert to RM1, yet to test though 

My method is always the same. Request to set to RM1 through email or online portal. If not complied, lodge a complaint to BNM. Success rate for SMS alert still stand at 100% 

That's what I thought too. I rarely use my ambank, mostly on overseas but I cannot accept when CS said SMS will only be sent based on their preset criteria.

Well yeah    I actually asked them why I am excluded from the B1F1 campaign and they simply tell me I am not in the list. I requested CS to escalate my complaint. He said he did but no follow up after several months. So basically, whatever mistake they do (banking, FD, CC), I just escalate it.

  Why the bank hides the "platinum" word under the Visa logo? I prefer the old design where the "platinum" word is displayed big-big at the top area.

Nah. 1 card is enough because it doesn't sit in my wallet everyday. Same as you, I'll only use it for PPL access and overseas spending.

Hopefully ambank won't cancel the ppl access for platinum card . As many bank outside there a lot already cut off this benefits for plat card.

Why I asked Customer Service, they said even we fax, we still need to submit the Real documents at Counter??

As they need us to do the Thumb Print?
