Went to Tonkatsu yesterday and used the entertainer app. When paying, they alerted me they had made a mistake and shouldn't have accepted the B1F1 in the first place because tomorrow is mother day and its not valid on public holidays, certain dates like father/ mother days and on the eve of public holiday (after 5pm). They still honor it though because they already accepted it in the first place.

I can't really remember the tnc but it seems like either I missed it or they revised their tnc already. I was going to cancel the card after the joy fortune love campaign ended.

Update: Found this after spending 10 minutes searching the app.



Is mothers day a public holiday? I think they got it wrong too.

Yup, I recalled that the B1F1 is not entitled on Public Holiday (not sure is certain or all PH) only but whether weekday or weekends is good to be redeem.

Usually I will just ask them to be confirmation whether can use or not

I think the point is that its a peak day for these f&b outlets. I knew about this before i even got the entertainer app. I think its actually ok, not really an issue for me.

They know approve both cards at one go if you qualify for any of the one cards. Similar to the M2 premier cards.

I think my cards lost in transition, posted out since 4th May using normal post though. Anyway, I called AmBank again and they will deliver to me using courier service now. I should be able to get my new cards within these two days. Let's see. At least it has tracking no. now, easier for me to track.

Choice is yours, both cards share the same limit though and free for life AF, so I dont see why u need to cancel one. Visa inifinite & WMC has their own perks at times.

You can enjoy unlimited PPL access for both cards.

Nope... you only... they match your credit card to your passport

I did just that with 2 cards.
And it allows free entry by verifying only my flight ticket/passport. My guest went in with me for free.

I think these days access to PPL is no longer considered a priviledge.

Most of the time I dont even use PPL cause the que is ridiculous. My last trip there.. the que was like going down the corridor... i cut the que and went straigth to the counter and show my biz class ticket (Yes you can do that)... i wont dream of going in with my cc...
