I applied on 5th April and until to date my application still not recorded in AmBank system. l give up if not processed as l use this card for PPL entry only.

random call? or all application will call co. to verify?

So far for most of the cards I applied will call to verify except for my MBB (cards addition).

Hi, i just want to ask about the AmBank CARz for the cash rebate on any petrol transaction as below.

Revolvers (pay min or partial) 5% rebate, capped at RM80 rebate per card per month.
Transactors (pay in full) 2% rebate, capped at RM20 rebate per card per month

I also submitted the application last 2 week.
Then the person in charge just called me to submitted the latest epf statement last friday.
Now waiting application approve.
Actually in between, I have made few call to them for application status .
By the way, how you submit your application? Email?

yes, submitted application together all the documents since 10 days ago, 2 day ago receive email say that wait 2-3 weeks for approval.

I have made a call just now. They approved my application yesterday and will deliver the cc to the nearest branch .
Probably will get the cc this week or next week.
You can try to call them and ask how the status .
My cc approved without msg/email me.

Planning to get 1 with PPL access but only have 60k income. Need to do some research if any cards entitled for this amount.

Call CS no. and one of the selections is to listen to status via IVR.

I called them, they told me its in the final stage of approval, probably need wait 3 working day. However when i check on phone selection system, it is approved.
Still waiting ... travelling soon so would like to try use the benefits

Ya, true. You can try to call again tmr. If CS personnel told you that your card is approved, then you have to wait 2-3 days for delivery.

by the way, which card you apply ? how much is CL they give ?
, delivery to your home address or collect at nearest branch ?

I applied for platinum Visa & master. I really don't care about CL, I use for ppl.
If you are new customer, they will send to nearest branch otherwise should be send to your home address.

wow thanks, just called, application approved, but dunno what card they give me , my annual income is in between the signature and wmc range. i did told the sale person, i will only take wmc.

Any new card holder faced PIN change problem?
I received the temporary PIN via SMS but unable to change the PIN at ATM. Error message is "invalid card". Went to branch & was told Ambank is facing technical problem at the moment. They just told me to wait & use signature for card usage.
