I've been using HERE all this while and I'm some what content with it bar the performance in tracking the car accurately (sometimes 50m behind actual).

Since I moved to Penang, I realized there is no traffic info available which I have previously found useful. Since the Waze app has been sabotaged by Google, is there any other hidden gems I should give a try?

HERE used to give free maps like China but ceased doing so quite some time ago. It has been going downhill.

Yea, HERE maps for Windows Phone is not fully supported, it's currently "Critical Updates Only"

The Microsoft Maps app is quite good, I find. Traffic and eta info not as good as Waze, but it gets the job done.

Will give it a try. Does it have turn-by-turn navi and voice? How's the car tracking performance?

For me their gps service much better than ios..
