Before I decided to own Xbox 360, I would like to know are there a lot of games where I can play with my friends (not Live) in my house? Like 2 players or more game?

Any of those cute type version like Ice Age 2 and those pixar or disney available for asian region... if there is 2 players game is in split screen on my TV or we actually play together?

Wondering the following below are 2 players game:
1. Viva Pinata
2. Marvel Ultimate Alliance
3. Dead Rising

Reason why I need to know because I do not wish to own a console that only 1 player can play which is quite boring to my friend or other half that watching me play...

By the way, I'm looking at un-modded xbox 360 if that help to answer my question... Thank you

Dead Rising - 1 player
Marvel Ultimate alliance - 2-3 players non split screen.

Viva Pinata and Dead Rising are single player games... for more 2 player games you might want to check out xbox.com... most of the shooters have split screen (i.e GRAW, GOW) the racers too...

Viva pinata is a single player game, BUT, you can have up to two person controlling the game at the same time (2 person on 2 different controllers).

Yes very cute. The pinatas are very cute coupled with nice in game music. Sure can please your other half.

its a cute sandbox / resource management game... it may look cute but its not a very casual game as there is fair bit of management involved... you might want to look at some of the arcade games on xbox.com... they are more casual and soe of them are cute as well...

IMO, if u r tend to share your console, maybe you should consider nintendo wii since it have many party oriented games.

i would recommend u to get a Wii instead of xbox360

haha... I'm actually weighing these 2 console... but Wii is still not available here and quite new in the market, I'm not sure that's a good decision...

reason why I choose to post in Xbox 360 because that was my initial plan before Wii comes into the picture... I'm actually looking forward for upcoming Resident Evil 5 in xbox 360 but at the same time I wish to share the fun with friends... haha... crossroad... :sweats:

My advice, go to GAMERS HIDEOUT and try the games they have available there! Bring your other half too! This way, you don't have to guess what games you want to buy.

that day I went there and Djinn is too busy to serve me... some more all machine already occupied by the customer... so no chance.... >.<

furthermore it's quite far to travel there from my side... so instead of going there again and to test out myself, I thought I can listen to current gamers opinion...

From you posts, I gather you like zombie themed games and also coop friendly games which you can play with your other half. Then I suggest you get a Wii instead. XBOX current list of games are very FPS and Sports oriented, not many GOOD family/coop games out atm.

Tryout Wii at gamershideout your other half might fall in love with it.

i believe resident evil Wii is being developed. if u buy gamecube controller + MC, u can play REmake, RE0 and RE4 on Wii too.
