Kudos to all who have put up the site. Professional Content. Concise rules but covers most aspect....except one critical part which worries me alot. Honking.
Macam mane? buleh ke? bile buleh hon, biler tabley....LOL

Open wheel hopefully can go with 1979. I really want to learn the car and to control the beast. F1 is good too but like PCcrazy brought forward before, u cant feel f1 cars really...and i agree with him. I think it is heavily dependant on ur visual que. No offence to pro-f1 mates (my teammate, Ryugan ..peace bro) Just my two cents.

honk-ing and using lights during races is a no no wink.gif after races is okay lah

I like to point out.

When yellow flags were shown, I hope all of us abandon everything that we're doing during racing such as fast laps and overtaking.
Because we cannot see cars in front having a problem or struggling to control it and were spinning in the middle of the track etc.

This is to avoid accidents.

Also, please give backmarkers time to position themselves in order for you guys to overlap them.

My 2 cents.

yes and it has been already addressed in the rules and regulations.

To all, please read it.

Guys bout the race at Laguna Seca, drivers are strictly prohibited to cut into the pit lane exit lane when approaching the first corner. Anyone doing so will be punished severly. tongue.gif

lol macam ni lah... when you are lapping us back markers (including me) pls think off our safety too. it is the back marker who should go off line, not the leaders.

to the leaders, let back marker move to the off line before overtaking.

Had an eventfull race last nite. fights with raikkonen and kimi. My pitstop strategy was one stopping, so i had to nurse my tires for the whole race. i managed to pass kimi and pccrazy thru pitstop. but my car balance was worst after my stop.

kimi : when ryugan and maranello (iirc) started chatting, the race was already over. i was on my parade lap. tongue.gif

taken from our league rules :

"12.8 Please give way if you are about to be lapped by the leaders. Race leaders when lapping back markers should do so in safe manner. Failure to yield during the race will earn you a stop go penalty and probably further penalty will be given by the league administrators after the race."

I'm stressing the part "in safe manner"; meaning safe for the leaders and the back marker. the way i see it, there are three ways of doing it :

A= Leader , B = Backmarker

i. Going into a corner : B lift off the throttle while still staying on the racing line. A take the inside line and overtake B.

ii. Exiting a corner : B take the corner as usual and immediately after exiting the corner go off the racing line while lifting the throttle.

iii. on the straight : B lift the throttle and go off the racing line and A overtakes him.

Leaders should ensure it is safe to overtake and back marker should not brake when the leader overtake.

I would like to propose that the leaders honk when the backmarkers let them by as a gesture of goodwill. smile.gif

OT: where can get racing glove? how much it cost (both chapalang and branded)?

i think sabelt & desmond can answer that. They both active in go-karting.

As for myself, when i'm driving during our league races, i wear long slevee shirt, tracksuit plus stockings tongue.gif maybe i've got $, want to buy racing glove plus a helmet tongue.gif and i always keep a bottle of water next to me smile.gif

ohh, that corner. i was thinking of taking the inside line into the right hand corner but i couldnt make it, slammed the brake. when i did that, the rear end of the car steps out and slide around the corner.

edit : i detached my rear anti roll bar.
