QUOTE(stevenkkh @ Aug 20 2016, 06:48 PM) Just want to ask anyone try balance transfer to credit card from pb before, I come across this which stated 0% interest and 0% one time handling fee. https://ringgitplus.com/en/balance-transfer...#ReadMoreReviewSo, for example, I am thinking if I take balance transfer of RM6k from other credit card to pb cc, then what will be my expectation? Will it be every month my pb credit card statement will have monthly installment amount of RM1k for 6 months? Somehow I also saw this statement: Zero interest sounds good. However, you’ll have to keep your promise and clear the outstanding balance within 6-month to avoid being slapped with regular credit card interest rates. Make me thinking whether the 6K balance transfer can be clear anytime within 6 months period without a must to pay 1k each month? Public bank will charge 1K each month to your card and immediately credit 6K to the 3rd party card. There is penalty of RM100 if you do the early settlement within 6mths The beauty of this balance transfer is PB don't bother whether you actually having owed the other bank statement balance of 6K, PB will just credit 6K to other card immediately when the balance transfer is approved. I did this few times already which is very efficient

I want to share my experience on Prudential online payment portal (PruaccessPlus). I have called the customer service, the portal not allow to make the advance payment whereby u can only pay when the policy comes to the due date . This will prevent us from try to meet certain credit card campaign when payment to insurance is not excluded from the campaign whereby for example currently AEON credit cards having campaing for CB RM100 when spent above RM2.5K.

QUOTE(pvateme @ Sep 20 2016, 06:06 PM) Wish to get some information from you about cash back on instalment plan with this card for online tx. 1) is the instalment amount entitle for cash back? 2) will all my cash back quota being used on the date i made the purchase, assuming purchase amount is > RM833.33 ? Or, only the monthly instalment amount will be deduct from the monthly cash back quota, which means I will continue enjoy cash back for the full instalment tenure ? 1. Yes the installment is entitled for the cash back as long as it falls under the entitled categories 2. Only the installment amount deduct from the monthly cash back quota. This is the beauty of this card whereby imagine if you swipe for 6K - 36mths installment, every monthly installment entitled for CB, indirectly u get 6% of 6K = RM360 Cash back!!

I also want to clarify one thing, this only applicable to the installment provided by the merchants NOT the ZIIP provided by Public Banck whereby it allow u to turn any transaction to installments.

QUOTE(pvateme @ Sep 27 2016, 10:49 AM) Thank you very much for your reply. I have further question on the ZIIP point from your reply. How do I know if my instalment is ZIIP or not ZIIP? I buy from merchant, and merchant did the instalment plan for me. I thought that is under ZIIP too? We cannot simply convert the purchase into ZIIP after we bought something, am I right? I checked from PB website, there is no such option for us to change purchase into ZIIP. Thanks in advance for your further reply. Maybe I confused u, what i mentioned is PB Flexipay Plan https://www.pbebank.com/Personal-Banking/Pr...y-Plan-(2).aspxThis plan allow u to convert any transaction above RM2K to 9mths 0% installments.
