Will apply this card after Raya by pledging FD. Hopefully the stamp duty fee is fixed and not per FD amount.

Did you get your card approved? What is the amount you pledge? I plan to do the same but want to find out from someone that did it before. Thanks

Hi guys, I just want to update that I used my card in Aussie on 26 March, and it is reflected in my unbilled transactions at the rate of 3.434199. The merchant charged 1.3% credit card fees, which is included in the total charged to my card.

KL money changer sell rate on 25th was 3.42. 27th was 3.41. I  have no data for 26th tho.

I guess for overseas transactions where merchants do not charge credit card fees, it would be a good rate. For example dining in restaurants, i lost my aussie receipt but i know they did not charge credit card fees.

Edit: sorry my mistake, card fees included in transaction, so actual forex is 3.434199myr to aud.

Correct me but exchange rates changes sometimes by the minute but money changer rate might change once a day or twice a day

Banks and CC use real time forex rate plus the charge to use the card out of the home currency too. If they don't charge extra what will they make out of it to give you a line or credit and the risk with it
