QUOTE(cybpsych @ Feb 11 2017, 05:54 AM) Want to know the date because I can't seem to see it in my transaction history. Because I made purchases which allows the weekly cashback promo. This post has been edited by drbone: Feb 12 2017, 01:38 AM |

Just confirmed with CS, maxis pay transactions will not be considered for the latest promo as it falls under utility payments.

QUOTE(janson_kaniaz @ Mar 13 2017, 08:46 PM) i have said this many many many times. Well, it is only natural that one would confirm with CS since so many were happily hoping that the promo would be eligible for their maxispay transactions. If not now, someone else would definitely call them up to enquire. stop calling CS!!! some members already proved it was qualified for cash back and yet people still call to verify. you know what? in the early days, TNB and syabas were also qualified until people started calling CS "to verify". the more people call, the more they know!!! and for your info, all CS thinks the same. ANY BILLS = UTILITY BILLS |

Dude, seriously, do you really think by calling , just from 1 call, they are gonna change the policy ? There could have been others who would have called. Don't you think more people would have read the T&C and if in doubt, called to clarify?
Anyway, it's up to you and it's your choice to break out this way. If not for this time, sooner or later , someone else would have wanted to know. Grow up. |

Honestly , what if , so happens , maxispay had been disallowed before calling CS, would it not be better for the rest who dwell into paying these bills to channel their payment into others which can guarantee CB from the promo ?
If let's say this week till the next few weeks , so many continue to pay using maxispay and at the end , CB is not awarded anyway, isn't it a waste of funds and time ? How can anyone guarantee before the call was made , others would have already called to ask? And it's stated CLEARLY, UTILITY PAYMENT is not eligible. Evidently one would want to clear the doubt ... Anyway no point arguing, everyone is entitled to their opinion. Cheers 😀 |

QUOTE(pvateme @ Mar 15 2017, 04:55 PM) have you guys ever count what is the actual return from mbb amex as comapre to this pb vs now ? Amex is not as readily available as visa. So if a merchant allows both cards , in terms of benefits percentage wise , yes , Amex is superior.with the 5x points and 5% rebate (weekend only), it actually give me 6.25% cash back, with assumption 20k point for rm50 metrojaya voucher. in that case, i should use amex instead of this pb vs in weekends. anyone has the same thought ? |

QUOTE(lilsunflower @ Mar 15 2017, 10:22 PM) If you really want to pay DBKL to qualify for the promo, use Shopee. Just buy in denominations of RM50. I think there are some sellers offering this service, but I haven't used it myself. Tried once using Shopee but in a day, there was a max of 2 transactions allowed, but I need to clarify whether this has happened to anyone else. |

QUOTE(MGM @ Mar 16 2017, 06:54 PM) QUOTE(lilsunflower @ Mar 16 2017, 07:22 PM) I will experiment on Monday and let you know. I haven't used Shopee much, except for 1-2 bills when sellers have promotions. But will try if got nothing else to spend on this coming Monday. Think got some TNB to pay. Need someone else to confirm. |

QUOTE(ytan053 @ Mar 17 2017, 05:48 PM) Let me clarify this as I have experienced it and confirmed it myself on 2 days. You can only use the same credit card and pay the same seller maximum twice a a day. Surprisingly when I wanted to change the credit card details , I was unable to proceed , so I'm not sure they track it using the account id...When I want to continue buying from the same seller, I need to use another credit cad (i.e. supp card) to buy another 2 items from the same seller. |
