Now I had the payment page to key in the OTP. CHecked status it said successful. But didn't receive any notification from PBB for use of card, which I usually get. Now, not sure if the payment has actually gone true confused.gif

if trigger OTP, then no notifications.

another method is check PBe, look for Authorised Amount. that amount is floating pending posting by merchant (i.e. posonline). this means, pbb already received charge request from posonline. after posting, it will show as Unbilled Transactions.

my experience (as explained by CS) was that due to split-statement, the supp card is linked to supp's own pbe account. the principal card's pbe cant even see the supp card to add at all. i need to login to supp's pbe account then add the supp card there.

when they query my card no and pbe, the system can't see my supp cards to add.

upon checking, my supp already has their own pbe and linked to the supp card dy.

they already know the loophole and yet they didnt fix it, which is darn good for us here.

their cashback (statement-based) logic didnt take account of split-statement for supp card. so, everytime generate statement, the cashback is given per statement basis (irrespective to supp or principal). of combined-statement, it's treated as one statement, hence cashback given once.

even if they closed the loophole, it wont do you good anyway for your supp card's spending. thumbup.gif

probably their internal system code to identify cashback vs other transactions. monthly cb, promo cb, all had DGP code/acronym.

that dgp not important. most important is the cashback amount biggrin.gif

how much cb impacted?

in my case, my principal card, impact was RM47.62 cb missed, so i quickly filed a report and gotten it back successfully.

it is possible, but cant guarantee. must go to pbb branch.

in the system, the customer service staff can add the supp card to your pbe acct first, then only u can 'add card' in your pbe.

just give it a try.

same like my 2nd supp card holder, my father. traditional banking guy, walk-in counter to withdraw money, no internet banking.

for the sake of this card's 6% grocery cb (for household spending), i had to trouble him going to branch to create pbe account. took him 4 trips! bangwall.gif because of the stupid pbe system: 1 pbe account = 1 unique mobile number (my father dont use mobile phone).

trip 1: created pbe account at branch. separately, i went to ATM to generate temp PIM, failed. took me 3 trips (thought system not updated, etc.). Later found out, no mobile number registered. reason: branch staff didnt say need mobile number prerequisite.

trip 2: registered my primary mobile number for his pbe account. separately, took me 2 trips at ATM, failed. reason: no mobile number registered. found out branch didnt update it!

trip 3: forced branch staff to register the mobile number immediately, on the spot. separately, my trip to ATM failed again. reason: this mobile number has been used to another pbe account (mine). System doesnt allow. bangwall.gif bangwall.gif and the staff didnt bother to ask.

all these while, my father went to branch himself, while i settle the atm portion later at night after work.

trip 4: since i was on annual leave, I walked-in branch with my father, with the intent to screw the staff if still fail getting temp PIN at ATM (next door). used my backup mobile number. before i went to ATM, the staff issued temp PIN envelope bangwall.gif


word of advise in registering PBe account:

1) mobile number must be unique, not used/linked by any existing PBe account.
2) get temp PIN envelope on the spot, by-pass ATM machine.
