Anyone has issue playing game using this laptop?

My laptop spec:-

- MSI PE70 6QE-079MY Prestige 17.3" Laptop/ Notebook
- Intel® Core™ i7-6700HQ-2.6GHz
- 8GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB SATA HDD
- NVIDIA® GeForce GTX 960M
- Windows® 10 Home

When I play dota 2 or any other high end games, the game will confirm hang after random X minutes. I told MSI about they told to me update driver, motherboard and so on.

I did all they ask and still exist. Then bring to MSI service centre, after repair also same problem. Anyone such issue before?

Get ssd lo.. mayb hdd got bad sector

did you check latest bios update?

did a bios update and it solve the issue.
Had several crash in my dota2 session causing massive mmr drop
yea gotta agree its a crappy laptop for gaming, but can't do much after purchased
sorry can't recall the exact issue which requires the bios update

dont say that.its a good laptop for gaming, a normal one, unless you get GTX970M or GTX980M for your unit.
GTX960M considered good enough for any game though. fully utilize your laptop and you will be happy.

I remembered my classmate Toshiba Laptop having the same situation as yours. The laptop will get delay for about 2 second and hangs after that. Sounds like hdd to me. Try replacing it. You'll see some differences.

Title misleading, I no issue using PE60 2QE
For Dota2, NFS, Titanfall, BF4, SoM, Witcher 3, LR CC, PP, Premier Pro ....

MSI announced the new service center maybe you can try again? call them first tho.

i think this is related with hdd... if updating driver, software, bios already being done and still there is this issue. probably is hdd this is scary thing.

what kind of repair done by service center?
