Hi sifu-sifu sekalian.... thumbup.gif

Anyone has used Hankook Ventus S1 noble2 before?

I am considering this tyres for me car: 235/40/R18. Got an offer of RM400 per piece included labor and everything. Kinda interesting price and made in Korea.
But I am not sure how it performs espcially in Malaysia road condition where pot holes are everywhere...uneven roads are everywhere....raining frequently...

Wonder any sifu used these tyres before and how do you find it....

Thank you very much in advance!! notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

Bought this for about RM320 a piece over a year ago for 205/55 R16 size, as it was cheaper than getting a Primacy 3ST or Advan DB.
Wasn't too keen on the GR100, EfficientGrip or C1S, so went for this.
Made in Indonesia, but seems just as good as my previous Hankook Ventus Prime2s which were made in Korea.
Driven it for 35,000 km with regular rotation/alignment at 10,000km intervals.
Lower noise than previous UHP tyres, but not as quiet as you think.
Same goes for all these other comfort touring tyres - don't expect magic carpet rides, as there will still be noise depending on road surface conditions, etc.
Grip is good for my kind of driving style, but in the wet, just apply common sense to drive slower la.
Tyre wear is also good to me, so far thread levels are still good.
Sidewall is soft, so it's less bumpy on bad surfaces, yellow stripes or speedbumps.
I don't regret buying it, as I wanted to know how a comfort-biased touring tyre would be like, and it is overall quite comfy.
But I won't buy it again though, as I drive aggressively, and will go back to UHP tyres, thinking of the Ventus V12 Evo2 next.

the sidewall should be tougher as it is double ply.

1st 300KM after changing to S1 Noble2 from Conti MC5. the rubber has:

better dry grip
less noisy
on par wet grip
more comfort

will see how it perform after 10K KM. but am very satisfied, very good cushioning.

Thanks for all the replies and gudies. I am now 2 weeks into the V12 evo2.
Very happy with it...much more softer and quieter than my pervious CSC 5P. I know, you can't really compare these 2 tyres head-to-head.

I am not exotic driver and never go track racing...so I think I can leave with the V12. superb dry grip...good wet grip (CSC 5P is better in wet). But the noise and hardness is much much much better. A happy Hankook V12 evo2 customer here.

By the way, I am driving A250. The stiffness of the car is much much more manageable with these new shoes.

ah, then luckily you didn't go with the Noble2, it would not be very suitable for the A250's performance, but it would make things slightly more comfy.
