Hi All... abit off-topic but still related to CIMB.

Currently using CIMB ATM Card without the touch n wave ability. Will it automatically send me a new card for replacement of current card or will I need to go to CIMB to change it manually instead ? This is also for the newly used 6 digits PIN instead of signatory too..

What should I do if I did not receive my monthly statement and I can't view my statement online ? Tried calling them but always directed to voice command .

Yes. I change it at the CIMB Bank counter and I got the wave card in ~10minutes ... 

Damn i want to scold CIMB, apply one of their credit card (Cash Rebate Platinum MasterCard) through online kena rejected by way of sms.

I was like wtf ? Minimum requirement 24k p.a only i also not qualify ? 

I planning to cancel my Ambank True card to switch to this better rebate card but got booted

I got also Maybank 2 Platinum card which all payment made on time, no outstanding more than a month. No other loan or credit, basically loan free. So i'm sure my credit is good.

Try to call CIMB customer service to find out the reason but even they also dont know the reason for rejection    

And said that if i want reapply need wait six months

I dont have any current account, fixed deposit, preferred banking or investment with CIMB bank..i only hold their normal visa infinite..but today i received a new card visa preferred infinite from them..dont know why..should i keep and cancell my normal visa infinite or just keep both of them..

received my CIMB CR together with CIMB Tesco card today.
Immediately call CS to activate CR and cancel Tesco card, it redirect to CIMB Card Centre and they offer me swipe RM200 to get RM30 rebate for the CIMB Tesco card.
They will immediately credit RM15 first, then I swipe any purchase for RM200 within 1 month, can get another RM15 in next 3 month (total RM30).
So I accepted the offer, will cancel it after the other RM15 received. 

I cannot check if the RM15 posted in the CIMB Tesco or not because unable to activate CIMB click right now since I have not set my own PIN for the card yet.

My History:
29th Aug - submit via cimb "Apply Online Now"
1st Sep - CIMB call for verification + request supporting doc, document sent in same day
5th Sep - approved and card sent out
9th Sep - received card.

i missed the CIMB treats fair last 2 weeks.

A quick question about payment and cash rebate.

My cash rebate came in a few days after my statement date. Hence, should I still pay according to the statement balance (stated in e-statement) or statement balance minus cash rebate (as stated in my online account)?

The 2x GL vouchers will be given to cardholders in a package when card is sent to them. It will be given every anniversary year. No minimum spend.

When I called, CS told me that may take 2 more weeks (not guaranteed) to process. But at least they got my application details in the system. Very very slow compared to other banks! Maybe you should call just to check its in the system. Based on my past experience, I don't really trust them!

My application for Enrich Plat MasterCard has been rejected even though holding CIMB CR with a 5 digits CL. Not that I desperately need the card anyway, just that CS offered me via phone call and I gladly accepted it. Funny, I thought adding card(s) should be no issue for existing card holders.

Really? That's funny. Usually card addition will be quite easy.
The guy in KLCC never even bothers to reply me after I sent in all the documents. Oh well, I will check directly with CS then.

Too bad for me as I will be travelling in MAS on Monday...

Sorry guys, just want to rant for a bit.

I was offered CIMB Cash Rebate by CIMB Card Centre last November since my salary is credited into this account. I was skeptical about the call at first since I did not apply any card and I had to give few details of myself for their confirmation. After validating the number online, I said OK and the agent told me to expect to receive the card in a week or two.

Two months passed without any news and I have made three calls in this period to find back the caller, but was told either he's busy or on leave and will call me back asap but received NONE. 

I gave up and tried to apply the card myself via CIMB Clicks. After submitting my profile, within a minute or two, I received an e-mail that my application was unsuccesful. The next day, I called CS and asked and they said they are unable to check the reason why my application was rejected as the decision is up to Bank Negara.  :confused: She then told me the application on November was unsuccesful too. I asked whether can I appeal for this application, but she asked me to apply it again in 2 - 3 days.

I can still accept the fact that they offer me a card but got rejected at the end. What I can't stand is when my first "application" was rejected, there were no news at all, no SMS or e-mail. Even worse, the caller refused to contact me again.
