As long as it's online, you'll get it.

I even got it for Uber during my travel trips.
Did you use it for online and other relevant expenses?

If yes, call them and ask.

That's good for you. I used my PBB VS for Grab and Uber and didn't get any rebate.

just out of curiosity, pre order of samsung galaxy note 7, rm300 deposit via samsung official website, but merchant is paypal currency in myr, will it be entitled with 5% cash back?
*
Haha, i am curious too. Those can afford to spend RM3k++ for a smart phone will really care about whether they are getting RM15 (5% from RM300 deposit) rebate or not?

Well, I don't deny too some got through from CIMB, not sure how they determine. Anyway, some only got charged after some time. For me, I will not take the risk and will not suggest others to do it. sweat.gif

Wow, CIMB is being absolutely ridiculous. I was slapped a finance charges of RM6.43 on my latest statement.

Statement Balance on 28 Aug: RM 522.58
Cash Rebate on 29 Aug: RM 26.13
Payment on 15 Sep (Payment due is 17 Sep): RM 496.45
Finance Charges on 28 Sep: RM6.43

Does anyone know how they calculate the finance charges? Charging RM6.43 for a short of RM26.13 is like imposing a finance charges of 24.6% per month. WTH? I tried to call their call center to ask about how they derived RM6.43 and they put me on hold for 30 minutes as they told me it's too complicated to calculate and will need more time vmad.gif
They promised to call me back within 2 hours and i am still waiting! ranting.gif

laugh.gif That's quite high ya. Sorry but I'm not sure how do banks calculate interest. Maybe you can share with us after they share the calculation with you. biggrin.gif

muscaa, you gotta be careful. smile.gif Just a friendly reminder.

Wow, they called me back and tell me all the nonsense like they are charging 1.25% interest per month on whatever amounts that i spent after the short (not 1.25% on the amount that i short!). I haven't heard of this before and ask them to show me the calculations and they told me it's too complicated to calculate but they will send me the formula and asking me to do my own calculation. This is really stupid! A bank with state of the art facility not able to justify and share with the customer on how they derived the RM6.43 late charges? After i raised my voice, they promised to get their finance department to recalculate and share with me the calculation formula by the next 3 working days, the earliest mad.gif puke.gif

Yes. Very easy thingy. Hopefully CIMB continues honouring to us and PTPTN to have this service for a longer period. laugh.gif
Thanks to v1nc3nt90, I was just merely trying out. tongue.gif
OK, looks like I have not missed out any fun yet. icon_idea.gif

Hey sis, just wanted to confirm. So payment through Jompay official website at www.jompay.com.my not entitled 5% rebate with CIMB Cash Rebate? In order to score the 5% rebate, we must do the payment through PTPTN website, right?
