Important Notice to all existing CIMB Bank Berhad and CIMB Islamic Bank Berhad Customers

1. Revision of Bonus Points Redemption Conversion Rate for CIMB Bank and CIMB Islamic Bank credit cards

Effective 1 April 2017, the conversion rate for bonus points to Ringgit Malaysia (RM) value will be revised from 250 bonus points to 400 bonus points = RM1.00.

The new conversion rate is applicable for Gifts offered under the Member Rewards Catalogue 2017/2018 as well as all transactions made at participating Pay with Points outlets.

Cardholders however may continue to redeem Gifts offered under the Member Rewards Catalogue 2016/2017 until 30 April 2017.

2. Transactions in respect of payments to charity and government related payments shall not be treated as eligible retail spending transactions for the purposes of earning bonus points and cash rebates with effect on 3 April 2017 (Applicable to all CIMB Credit Cards except Enrich Cards earning Bonus Miles and CIMB Platinum Business Card).

Kindly be informed that effective from 1st April 2017, the Member Rewards Programme’s Terms and Conditions will be revised. Please refer to the CIMB Bank’s website at (www.cimbbank.com.my) / CIMB Islamic Bank’s website at (www.cimbislamic.com.my) for a copy of the revised Member Rewards Programme’s Terms & Conditions. The revised Member Rewards Programme’s Terms & Conditions shall take effect and be binding upon you with effect from 1 April 2017.
