QUOTE(kelvinlzy @ Aug 21 2016, 03:27 PM) First of all, any outstanding balance will have the following charge percentages, depending on the criteria: owh thanks, really appreciate for the advise. yes, i can settle the minimum payment, the main rationale is to settle my smartphone installments by months, manually, as CIMB doesn't have options to convert to EPP/ IPP like UOB, HLB. So I'm abit curious, now that I know, I will settle the remaining balance as much as I could in order to get charged 1.25% interest monthly, rather than 18% p.a.15% p.a. (daily interest) - Cardholders who promptly settle their minimum payment due for 12 consecutive month 17% p.a. (daily interest) - Cardholders who promptly settle their minimum payment due for 10 months or more in a 12 month cycle; and 18% p.a. (daily interest) - Cardholders who do not fall within the above categories. IINM, if you haven't promptly settle the minimum payment for 10 months and above, your interest would be 18% per annum, which translates to 1.5% per month, and from that 1.5% interest you get 10% rebate. Secondly, nobody would actually be attracted to this feature unless you can't settle your outstanding or even minimum payment. Then again credit cards would not be useful for you and it would cause you to dig a deeper hole of debt. And this is also one of the ways banks make profit, as a smart consumer we should not let them take our hard-earned money |

yeah it's in. I got my 5% cash back upon Note 7 Pre-order from RM300 which is way higher than my remaining balance of 0.2%
So correct me if I'm wrong TNB can be done 5% cash back from Posonline but got to reduce for 2.12% extra charges? What about Unifi & Celcom? Should I opted for auto debit 2% Cash back or Pos Online? |

QUOTE(David83 @ Aug 30 2016, 02:43 PM) For Celcom, I'll for Auto Debit. 2% from CIMB and 5% from Celcom. Hi senior, I just have to change my payment settings from Celcom OCS end right for auto debit, nothing to declare from CIMB end?For Unifi, no 2% if you auto debit with TM. I guess based on TM/Streamyx bills. |

Quick questions my fellow seniors, currently I'm using Celcom RM80 monthly, so I'm entitled with 5% CIMB CR + 2% Autopay, was wondering does it still the same lets say I get a device installments + plan package that cost RM240, will I able to get 7% CB out of it?

QUOTE(David83 @ Apr 9 2017, 09:02 AM) Erm, sorry, quoted from celcom website:-You can sign up for Auto Billing via: i) OCS. Click on the Payment tab at the top of the page and select the Auto-Billing Application in the drop down menu and follow the steps accordingly. ii) Celcom Payment Kiosk (CPK). When you sign up with auto billing, you will enjoy 5% rebate on your monthly bill. If your enrolment is processed 1 day before your bill date, your payment via Auto-Billing will take effect on the next month's bill. Your monthly deduction is 5 working days from your bill date. https://www.celcom.com.my/personal/support/...d=1360826581220 Hmm. |
