QUOTE(psyduck89 @ Jul 4 2016, 01:45 AM) Any extra charges if I buy whisky from klia2 when returning to malaysia? The boarder charge only apply to foreign currency right? No extra charges. That’s right or when their payment gateway is not in Malaysia (online transactions).

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jul 4 2016, 11:33 AM) Borders charges only applicable for online transactions. That said you will be charged with service charge and also based on forex rate when you swipe in overseas. Oh no So generally swiping overseas have no cross border charges? We swiped in MYR last month overseas and still got charged, so I guess there won't be any if we swipe in their local currency instead?

QUOTE(DarReNz @ Aug 3 2016, 01:40 PM) what you got slapped would be DCC charges which are quite high, yeap should always choose the country local currency instead So that's what it is really called. Learnt my lesson already, will try not to swipe overseas or I'll just stick to local currency. Thanks!
