Pin is only required for purchases above rm250 so for mcd no pin is required.
Also bank negara directive is to move to pin without signature. Thats why mcd doesnt need pin or signature
*
but this hasn't been implemented yet
so if it's not wave, should require signature

paywave: <RM250-- no signature/pin. RM250 and above-- need signature/pin.
slot/swipe: Any amount-- need signature/pin.
when paying mcd, kindly state whether using paywave or slot/swipe method.
*
it's slot, hence i'm surprise no signature
my m2 amex no wave feature at all

since the pin and pay not started yet, i doubt they can actually implement it now

I just got my CIMB Cash Rebate Platinum card not long ago and started to use this as my main card.

Does anyone know if CIMB does offer these services?

1) E-statement of credit card bill to email address? Since this will be my first statement, are they going to send a paper copy or e-statement to my email address?
2) SMS alert for every single transaction (online & swipe, any amount)

Do they provide these service for free? I took a look at the CIMB Clicks and they charge SMS alert for CIMB Click transactions...
*
1) shud be estatement, else just get it from cimbclicks
2) call cs to set limit to RM1

The current practice at McD is no need to sign.
But I'm asking if this practice is a violation since no PIN input nor signature is required.
Even though it's not a big deal but just a concern.
If you guys think that I'm too noisy, just ignore me.
*
i reported this too either at the amex or M2 thread
since it's not wave and it's not pin and pay, i would say we should be required to sign
somehow we don't and if you ask me, i wud say this is not correct, anyhow so far only happens in McD, so just leave it for now

Yes by email. No notification, just an automated acknowledgement email. I used that email and forwarded to the card center email address asked for status. Then, somebody called and closed my case. Monday's night is still early to follow up now.

final update:
received the supp card just now thru poslaju drop mail to my home - no signature required
letter was dated 21/09, so 7 working days from email to approve and send out, 10 working days to receive

one thing strange is the supp card expiry date is not following the principal confused.gif
it expires in 21 whereas my principal expiring in 19 rolleyes.gif

RM26.78 for 5% and 2% is correct, 2% for your celcom autodebit + 1 petron + 1 petronas transaction
0.2% for digi online and xox, meaning your other rebate is RM0.08, am I correct?

since your statement date is different from ours, your cash back is from 6th-5th of next mth

yours is Aeon not Aeon Big

thanks a lot bro  notworthy.gif  thumbup.gif

er, ur 27.14 is including the 0.2% rebate, without it it's 27.035 round up to 27.04
0.2% is separate cash back entry

Does buying plane ticket from Airasia considered as online payment?
*
if you meant airasia.com.my then yes - considered online, but still no cash back as airlines not qualify for cb

QUOTE(Duckies @ Oct 29 2016, 08:31 PM)
What about I paid with Aeon Big card then pay back with CIMB CB using pos online?
*
yes, you get cash back from both aeon big card (provided quota not finished) and then from cimb cr

fruitie and cybpsych

Thanks for your information.  notworthy.gif

So, it is confirmed that we have spend exactly RM 600.00 (not a cent less), in order to get the maximum 5% online cashback, which is RM 30.

It is a misleading clause in their terms and conditions, and CIMB Bank does not fulfil their terms and conditions.  mad.gif  bangwall.gif
*
it will be rounded to the nearest cent

Guys... now with CIMB CC, after swipe or wave... do we still receive a SMS stating that a transaction had gone through ?

I used to receive that but now not anymore... OR is it a specific amount only it will send us the SMS ?  hmm.gif
*
yes, default amount is RM1000, but newly activated cards will get certain sms too
you can call cs to set it to RM1
