received the cashback from CIMB, but it was not match with my own calculation, then I found out the following:
1. CMSB REAL TIME - RPS KUALA LUMPUR MY -
not eligible for 2% standing instruction - this fall under 0.2%
- We only get 2% cashback for CELCOM RPSXXXXXXXX KUALA LUMPUR MY
- I don't know how celcom determine when to use the different terminal to charge the card, I have 5 celcom bill auto debit to my CIMB CR. So far I have notice:
Oct 2016 -> 5 out of 5 bill was using CELCOM RPS
Nov 2016 -> 3 out of 5 bill was using CELCOM RPS, other 2 using CMSB REAL TIME
Dec 2016 -> 1 out of 5 bill was using CELCOM RPS, and 4 of them using CMSB REAL TIME
> I lost quite a lot of cashback here
2. ALI*www.taobao.com HANGZHOU CN -
not eligible for 5% online spend > this has been reported before. this fall under 0.2% now
> I used to get 5% rebate back at Oct 29th during Oct spending in taobao with the same ALI*www.taobao.com HANGZHOU CN
U can always log a case to them.. autodebit should be fixed date and they award based on system but their system failed to tag ur transaction properly that's y they need to manually cashback to u if u log a case to them. At least ur case will make them look into their system to rectify their error
