Sorry guys, just want to rant for a bit.
I was offered CIMB Cash Rebate by CIMB Card Centre last November since my salary is credited into this account. I was skeptical about the call at first since I did not apply any card and I had to give few details of myself for their confirmation. After validating the number online, I said OK and the agent told me to expect to receive the card in a week or two.
Two months passed without any news and I have made three calls in this period to find back the caller, but was told either he's busy or on leave and will call me back asap but received NONE.
I gave up and tried to apply the card myself via CIMB Clicks. After submitting my profile, within a minute or two, I received an e-mail that my application was unsuccesful. The next day, I called CS and asked and they said they are unable to check the reason why my application was rejected as the decision is up to Bank Negara.

She then told me the application on November was unsuccesful too. I asked whether can I appeal for this application, but she asked me to apply it again in 2 - 3 days.
I can still accept the fact that they offer me a card but got rejected at the end. What I can't stand is when my first "application" was rejected, there were no news at all, no SMS or e-mail. Even worse, the caller refused to contact me again.

you have gone through something most of us had gone through before (and probably still going through). understand your frustration, but that's how the bank operates some how.
