My UOB card too 2 working days for the same request.  Real donkeys at CIMB, first they rejected my request but did not follow up and I had to reopen a new report and wait another round. No wonder they suck financially this year.

I think I know why mine wasn't automatically linked. Long time ago I had a CIMB account with another CIMB Clicks account username, it is already inactive for many many years. Then after that I opened another banking account, created another CIMB Clicks account. When I used the manual procedure to link the credit card, it asked me which CIMB Clicks account to link to. I believe this was the reason why it was not automatically linked, as my IC number is in their database have multiple CIMB Clicks account, they wouldn't know which one to link to. Do you have more than one CIMB Clicks account as well?

P/S: Anyone knows if can request CIMB to remove old inactive accounts?

Years ago No  I do not have any Card from any Bank CIMB is my 1st Credit Card Application they offered me the card becos I got Saving /Fund/ Gold investment Account with CIMB.

They told  me Reasons of My Rejection: I don't have SOCSO...

cimb quite weird, the first time i want to apply credit card thru cimbclicks, doenst allow me to do so...
then submit docs thru branch...twice...got rejected...
2nd application check the status thru customer service, the staff said if first application is rejected, automatically second application is rejected and need to wait 6 months then apply again.
then last 2 weeks, manage to apply thru cimbclicks...duno how and duno why suddenly can apply thru cimbclicks...

immediately got staff call me to submit docs due to i do not have softcopy to submit...then they sent me email for the softcopy...
today got the card, the approval date is 14th Dec...

now wanting to activate the card and change pin, cimbclicks doesnt allow me to do so...[facepalm]

Yes. Fortunately, they are and since they started to accept card payment, it is so much easier and faster comparing to cash payment not to mention there's no minimum payment required and you get a free frozen for payments RM10 and above.

Personally, I can't wait for other fast food, shopping centres and retailers to follow suit.

I don't need to walk to PTPTN counter anymore.
Earlier I was thinking it gotta be a hassle after my office moves to Gardens from current location - KL Sentral which has a PTPTN centre here.

Don't be sad, CC function was not there earlier. I think only started last month. Maybe v1nc3nt90 can confirm since he was the one alerted here and I tried it out.
