Kelisa Model was actually has stopped mass production on December 2006
the Replacement Model of Kelisa. if everything is ok , i think they are now finalizing the work on training the mechanics and also focus on sales and marketing department now .

Yes. It will price slightly cheaper than MyVi.

What i am concern is the engine, 3cylinder engine is a big no no for me. Noisy and rough. Based on Swordsmen last posting, 1.0 and 1.3L engine too choose from(not yet Confirm by Perodua), but i doubt they will put in 1.3L engine on this small little car.

i think the price will be cheaper than myvi, oni then it will look competative...
then again the engine bay is quite small, most probably a 1.1cc engine fitted in...

Is the pic your attached in 1st post the new car?

This is a actual picture taken at showroom. and this year model are basically are taken from Perodua Concept Car. and as you or not know. this are the Replacement Model For Kelisa last year. as i mentioned early the mass Production will be in April 2007 and the official Launch are expected to between april or mid year 2007.
the model are similiar to Toyota Model that taken from Japanese car. and the upgradeable version from japan car. for marketing site, this model are expected to broke Myvi sales.. it,s like combined Kenari and Yaris Model on new faces of kelisa Replacement. so whatya think, give opinion of this new car

Powered by DVVT Engines. Dual airbags and combined Signal lamp at side mirror and Head lamp with Kenari style look at the rear side of the car. the price are bit lower then Myvi. name of the car are still unknown. The codename is D18D.

that d18d look abit like myvi, but i guess it shud be smaller la rite? anyway, at lower price than myvi, with dual airbags, what more can u ask for? its quite a good bargain la i guess..

the only thing i dun quite like is the rear taillights.. too darn thin.. but anyway, looks can be subjective.. if the price falls btw RM30k-RM40k, it wud been the only car with dual airbags at that price range.. am i rite? hehe

i think the blue one is kancil replacement model and the white/black one is kelisa replacement..

I say it looks promising. The lights and signal light on the side mirror is a plus. But it does look abit like the myvi. Just hope this one, the price is good for the full spec ones.

From that photo, i think the blue one is JDM Daihatsu Mira (judging from rear and front design)...

No the Blue car are the original version of D18D and not a replacement for kancil. as far i know Kancil still in market until 2008 and this new car are the upgrade version of the first car (BLUE CAR) from japan of course.. that image was shown when a prototype car comparing with the first one for aerodynamic, engine, performance. etc when did a test run on malaysia lah

maybe too.. or maybe not... hard to tell.. but i can safely assure that the pics is taken in malaysia since the white one aka kelisa replacement ady got perodua logo at the frnt grille.. but still, hard to see any logo in frnt of the blue one.. its daihatsu vivo/viva?is it?.. 4got ady the name..

haha.. thanks for the info swordsman! so this means that we're not having a new breed of kancil pretty soon.. sigh.. i tot i heard lots of rumors saying that there will be replacement for kancil, and each time they said tat, that pics of tat blue car will also accompanied together wit the statement.. anyway, for the kelisa replacement, its definately a good bargain.

There are two model confirmed to be on market the first are only upgrade version of Savvy, improvement from the first model when it launch on last year. second is the upcoming Gen 2 Sedan model, another version from hatchback actually

what bout the size? is it almost the same as myvi or smaller? if its quite the same as myvi, i'm pretty sure ppl will opt this rather than myvi, that wud kill myvi markets is it?.. gosh..

If you compare this model with kancil & myvi. A lil' bit bigger then it's previous model Kelisa and also bit smaller then Myvi. you can compre it yourself with the pic i attched already

huh? the waja and gen.2 MME is old news ler.
it was released somewhere in August 2006. it's limited edition.

anyway, last time i saw some1 post the interior of the original car (forgot the name). not the replacement model, but the original car. the gear knob is not at the side like current myvi. that interior really looks nice. i hope the replacement model also having the same interior.

hmm.. something in btw.. i guess the pricing shud be (this is just my opinion ya..):

kancil : RM20k-RM30k, small..
new kelisa : RM30k-40k (with dual airbags.. ), medium size
myvi : RM40k-RM50k, bigger size, but not too big..

if this were the price shud be.. which wud u choose..?
for me, IF this is the price.. i'll definately opt for the new kelisa la.. even tho the taillight is not quite my taste.. hehe..

If the supposed perodua viva really comes out with 1.0 DVVT engine, dua airbags and ABS for 30-40k, this for sure will kill off naza sutera, naza suria, proton savvy and even the kancil for the compact cars category! Cant wait for the final product to come out.

The side mirrors does look a little smaller than myvi's. And rounder. But the signal lamp thingy looks the same.

Looks not as nice as the MyVi... But certainly looks more practical then MyVi's interior controls...

Nice exterior but bad finishing for interior.

I think it's not fully completed yet.

the meter panel is okay only the color of the center dashboard is out for me.should be darker grey or sumthin.

lets just hope that this pics will only stays in our minds only.. hopefully no one else from this forum will circulate this pics for the sake of swordsman..

anyway, the dashbord looks ok for me.. but if lighter color will be much more appealing cos nowadays, too many cars with dark/black dash already. quite boring for me...

another Tin Milo product ..compressed avanza...they launch delay abit and give an excuse this is"upgraded version" of new daihatsu mira that was launched end of 2006...actually to downgrade and cut cost as much as they can..

we learned from myvito..intially they said myvi is upgraded passo...
but at the end, cut cust suspension system, cut cost seat quality, downgraded ECU which caused high FC..

get ready..to drive the car in "hot" condition..since air cond kong is common problem for pelodua esp..kancil...but nevermind..we can blame DENSO..

small car Tin milo body with DUAL AIRBAGS... just like ride a motorbike with full body protection (fullface helmet, glove etc)..but motorbike is still motorbike...

The gearknob is cheapskate lookalike. . . the interior is so-so, typical perodua quality...
