Just a little word of advice to those whom keens on getting cheap tyres….
Cheap tyres doesn’t provide you with the grip/reliability that you need in the event of emergency. You may save some moneys in getting cheap tyres for your car…. But bear in mind, should you ever get into an accident because your car lost grip… the repair work will cost more than the money you saved from getting cheap tyres. And worst… if someone else got hurt… The black & rubbery thing on your car is what connecting your car to the road… It’s the most important equipment on your car. Think of your own safety plus those in your car… Tyre shop owner would say anything to convince you to buy/change tyres from them…. They don’t care whether the tyre is safe or not because in the end…. You wanted it, they supply it. They didn’t point a gun on your head & force to get it. |

As you mentioned... its already 2-3 years. The tyre compound will eventually dries up & starts to crack over time. Also, our Malaysian's weather is not helping the situation. There's another thing I would like to highlight here..... As I've mentioned earlier, the tyre compound will eventually dries up & starts to crack over time, this would also means that the grip performance will also deteriorates. So regardless, how the tyre still looks new after several years... it doesn't means that the tyre is still in good/prestige condition.
