I am currently having these wheel set up on two of my car

Car 1
185/55 R16 with Mich XM2+

Car 2
185/60 R14 with Mich XM2+

I know this two size is odd side but is there any performance tires like PS3/4 or Primacy that came with the above size?

Would prefer to keep it stock size/wheel type.

I am more of the performance/drive hard in the corner type driver.

Too bad local (proton/peredua) car dont allow you to customize (eg car came with 16inch wheel but you can custom order to come with 15inch wheel that was standard on another variant)

Is there any performance difference between normal tires and "Extra Load' tires within the same range.. Eg standard PS4 and PS4 ST (Extra Load)?

Wondering why nobody talk about Falken ZE310?
Is this tyre good?

I just got this tires to replace my car stock tires.

For a 185/55R16 it is reasonable at RM230, in my impression is that this is the better tires to have for spirited drive if I wanted to stay at stock size.

Other decent choices are GY Triple max 2 and XM2+ in that size. I have decided not to change wheel and stack stock for the time being.

From my understand this should perform better than eco tyres but not as good as proper UHP tires (PS3, GY F1 Sport)

Also this video pushed me to this, not sure where it was produced but for asia is made in Thailand

Paid RM230 with Stanford tyres whom they need to special order (takes a few day). Not sure if normal shop will willing to do that or not.

First impression is quiet but as per video I expect slightly high FC due to higher rolling resistance.

Edit:
I realized the version I got is actually labeled as "ZE310R" (with the R) that is designation that it is meant of Southeast Asia market (made in thailand). So I am very curious how does it perform to the ZE310 that was tested as per attached which I assumed is the European version.

Funny enough the way how Stamford Tyres marketing materials was actually pointing to the accolades received in Europe that are referring to european version.

I just hope that performance (at least for my version with the R) was on par with what was tested as per the attached youtube video tires made on different region tend to have different quality.

what would be ideal size to downsize from 185/55 R16 to R15 inch wheel within causing more than 3% difference.

More onto performance driving but looking to downsize just to reduce the unsprung weight.

Had a 15 inch wheel with 6.0J width, certainly wont be able to fit 205 tires.

Webpage I found i mostly on upsizing but I cant find downsizing part.

You can downsize to 195/60R15 size. 195 width can fit 6.0J

Thank you for the suggestion icon_rolleyes.gif

Noticed that there are not much performance type tires for this size bangwall.gif

Ya. Unless smaller tyre to 195/55R15

I believe fitting 6J wheels with 195/55R15 would not be an issue right?
