how many mileage recommended to swap front and rear tyres?

and when u swap, do you swap diagonally? i.e. front right to rear left, front left to rear right.

The effective way of rotation should be all 4 ways rather than 2 ways.

Hence, front crosses to rear and read straight up to front, eventually all wheels would have moved around to all four sides.

But take note that not many shops follows this, unless the customers requests

thanks, but your suggestion only 2 ways? front crosses rear, but rear go straight? wouldn't it be rear crosses front?

if you keep crossing both ways, you wont be rotating to all for sides, and that is 2 way

say now, you have the rear rotated to the front (straight) (take RR (rear right)...what happens on your next round of tire balance/rotation, you will be crossing the front, then it would go to the RL from FR.

Eventually all four will get rotated to different sides in 4 rotations

what do u think on below recommendation from bridgestone?

https://www.bridgestonetire.com/tread-and-t...k/tire-rotation

so i think, as u said, we should instead: front straight to rear, and rear crosses to front

Thats a good diagram...thansk for sharing.

My explanation above was referring to "Rearward cross"
