The below are the tyres 225/45r17 I used all these years, last for 20-22k KM only…

1) Michelin PS3
2) Bridgestone RE003
3) Hankook v12
4) Dunlop maxx sport 050+

Please advise which brand/model can go further maybe 30k+ KM….

Please help.

I last used ps3 it lasts up to 50k km with discipline rotation every 10k. I'm surprised you achieved much less. Any tyre you choose make sure you rotate frequently to maximise its mileage

How you drive and what car you fitting in the tires?
If always full throttle and go in corners like nothing at high speed, any tires also gg very fast.

office car CW Achilles ATR Sport 2, mileage already hit 25k km, the thread still looks as new. Grip almost none at wet rain, need to slow down.

you have quite a few options to choose from with your size. Mine's 215/55/R16 and suddenly a lot of options unavailable...but for comfort range would be:-
- Michelin Primacy 4 (probably best but most expensive option)
- Bridgestone Turanza T005
- Continental Ultra Contact 6
- Toyo CR1 (cheapest in the range)

What 20-22k km tyre life?
You must have excessive alignment toes and/or pre-mature tyre replacement criteria aka not following tyre wear indicator as recommended by all tyre manufacturers across the board?

My previous pair of XM2 lasts for about 115k km.
Current pair at about 105-108k km usage, with a tread depth of about 2 -2.2 mm and going.
Its manufacturing date is Week 13 Year 2015 thereabout.
Plenty of hairline cracks at edge, nah.... that isn't an issue according to factories.

depends on what car you drive. if heavy car + heavy braking, mileage would be much lesser.

zeng testified his personal experience, mileage can very high.
my last time XM1 also used many many years.
previously Primacy3st use get 40k while other tyres like BAX2, TripleAssurance only get 28~30k.
now Primacy4 come out liao.
Primacy more for performance compare sidewall stiffer than xm2 becoz 1 more layer, but still relatively softer than others ive tried.

XM2 and Primacy I have seen them develop cracks on tyre tread blocks towards the side, very very common.

yeah, you are spot on
I was comparing Primacy to XM2, and my limited experience with other tyres.

well, XM2+ to me feels not worth the money...better off going for Continental UC6 coz it should be around the same price? Primacy is worth that little bit extra because it has much better performance even when worn. Having just changed my tyres (to a much cheaper range - Hankook) from 5.5 years old Continental MC5, I can say that new rubber does affect braking performance. I've always thought these only affect racing cars but you can feel the significant difference even on cheap tyre.

but there is no harm in using cheaper tyre...since you're going for comfort. For example, Toyo CR1 is almost half the price of Michelin's Primacy so it does make some sense in using Toyo for half the time and changing tyre a little sooner than usual for whatever reason (since its so cheap). My cousin did just that.

those bantai full throttle at traffic light and cruise 200kmh can kill tyre thread very fast..imagine drive conti cruise at 220kmh instead of national speed limit 110kmh. double speed, lifespan shorten by double. as easy as that.

How's the MC5 towards the end? Performance degraded as expected or how?

Hi,

Could I get some recommendation for a Myvi 14 inch tyres ?
My usual drive would be 110 on highway, max 130 when long distance drive.
Never hit corners for more than 60, usually 50.

Currently eyeing CC6, but would like to hear some options.
Prefer noise reduction and comfort and good on wet days.
