QUOTE(zenix @ Oct 18 2016, 03:24 PM) top spec bezza is way better than myvi myvi only better in terms of space Mazda2 is alright. wah how can i miss this? Myvi 1.5 Special Edition - Automatic - RM 48k (can pay finish within 4 years) Bezza 1.3 Premium X - Automatic - RM44k (can pay finish within 3 years) My aim is not to buy the highest specs, don't need those "extra" stuff. End of the day asking for Bezza I guess, no need top end right? This post has been edited by y4ng: Oct 24 2016, 04:55 PM

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « QUOTE(lsm1991 @ Oct 24 2016, 05:20 PM) top end bezza's major dif is that it has that extra safety feature which brings its crash ratings up.... whether its important or not is really up to you. QUOTE(zenix @ Oct 24 2016, 05:27 PM) Basically the low spec Bezza is worst off than Myvi. The top spec Bezza is only better because of the additional safety features so you're in a 5 star ANCAP car. Which is the first and only one from Perodua iinm. So yes Bezza top spec is very updated but the lower spec ones are nothing better than Axia. so basically, either the highest end of bezza or just get a myvi? 2nd highest end of bezza no point? QUOTE(lsm1991 @ Oct 24 2016, 09:16 PM) not to say 'no point' but you are pretty much missing out on what it has to offer in that aspect. At the end of the day it can still get you from point A to point B, but as you it is missing stability control there is an increased chance you dont. Then again i always say that if you drive responsibly the chances of this happening is greatly reduced (but not removed alltogether) okla, i change the order to 1.3 bezza advance. 4 years repayment instead. actually long run will let my other half drive this car, i rather get another 2nd hand manual car, aiming for GT86 or maybe a CRZ after paying this off. thanks for the advice, wanted a myvi 1.5 because of engine, but, no point if city drive, kill me faster only if use powerful and small car in highway.

QUOTE(lsm1991 @ Oct 24 2016, 10:56 PM) haha 86 is a very nice car but manyak mahal.... crz alrightlah more looks than go but right now 70k can net you a decent car. Otherwise if u berani and can afford to pay cash, save up and get a older car.... if use powerful and small car in highway. bolehlah, need to control urself only.... to be honest not much dif between the 1.5 myvi and 1.3 bezza... go try the persona 1st before you make your decision.... you might like that better?? my other half ban proton, sot thats why. CS not great, currently using a proton and a bike sometimes for daily work. Petrol not a problem, company sponsor. so need to save up next 4 years i guess. house otw so draining my cash flow by 1/3. if i get monthly repayment of 1k above, cannot save for holiday etc. either get a good car now n keep for the next 7-9 years, or get a ok ok car, and buy a 2nd hand in the future =) gonna rent a hachiroku next week in hakone anyway he he he.

QUOTE(zenix @ Oct 25 2016, 12:31 PM) Well, even Myvi doesn't have the updated safety features of the top spec Bezza. Infact at around this price point the only other product which has is the Persona and Saga. However, personally I feel Perodua has better customer service and maintenance for the Bezza in the long run would be cheaper. 2009 Swift Sports 1.6 - if you're into cars that are nimble and fun you should consider a car like this. A very nice sorted chassis. Powerful engine but not too powerful until driving it is difficult. Near perfect gear ratio's. A driver's car for sure, you can bring it to the track or Genting Sempah for some fun although there are more powerful cars but if based on engine capacity probably only Proton Satria GTI or Proton Satria Neo R3 might give you a run for your money else you'd be cutting corners overtaking most other 1600cc cars unless heavily modified. Always remember an original SSS only comes with a 1600cc engine and manual gearbox, everything else is just bodykit version of the standard model. 2008 VW Polo GTI 1.8 - however if you want something more powerful but not a big brute like Evo's and WRX's then maybe you can consider the Polo GTI. It uses the more stable 1800cc turbo which was in Audi A4/A6, VW Golf GTI, Skoda Octavia 1.8T, etc. It is stable hardware plus connected to a manual it is pretty much bulletproof. 2000kms per month on average. I am selling off my Neo CPS Manual and my brother using normal suzy, so kinda know the rough idea. planing to get another car in the future after bezza, GTI sounds nice, or alternatively, a GT86 within 5 years from now =) for now i need to find a better career path >.<

QUOTE(lsm1991 @ Oct 25 2016, 02:07 PM) erm..... why not just stick to the cps... im guessing most of the major depreciation period has already passed~ its a car that will get you from a-b though does drink petrol abit like those pencuri kereta in USA, my other half cannot drive a manual. Need to "share" the car in the near future, so this is my sad story with my neo. petrol is free for me, company sponsor. i always pump RON 97 (V power kenot, shell card max 97). so, sell off, buy new auto car, i use bike, she use car, years from now i get another manual (which she cant drive), and it is ALL MINE!!!! GT86 kinda like a dream fun car, as S660 too expensive damn jibby

QUOTE(lsm1991 @ Oct 25 2016, 02:34 PM) s660 aww yeah my fav..... not really jibby punya pasal alone tho.... scalpers making buttloads here My aim : 1. S660 - pray hard someone selling it cos "not enough power" when the time comes 2. GT86 - Most logical 3. MX-5 - old ones 4. S2000 5. MPS - if family too big 6. CR-Z - most affordable BMW 1 series, Renault Megane, Golf GTI, Ford Focus a bit challenging to maintain, maybe Lotus Elise for non-jap car. This forum quite good in talking about 2nd hand cars, like adopting an old dog that nobody wants.

Copen Most likely will stick to GT86 instead of BRZ, not a big fan of tebu, prefer soya car. Nowadays nobody wanna get manual, talk nia a lot. CR-Z really just for daily drive is practical, easy to park etc, like Sera. S2000 near impossible to get in Malaysia, most likely will suffer same fate like NSX kena import out. yeah true about MPS, maybe take out from wishlist. Notice S660 is always "pre-order", so if really want can pre-order a manual version, kinda like kelisa engine with tebu. Military dog wan, sometimes bite owner

Good S2000 and NSX all in collector hands now, can't even see any Supra's for sale anymore. Few years back can get for 60k, nowadays cannot. S660 won't be cheap, I wouldn't bother. Bite owner? Just like a misbehaving clutch during the wrong time during a drift? nevermind, magnum powerball jackpot currently at 7 million, give me erm 4 digit + 2 digit + 2 digit i go buy tomorrow, then can liao buy S660. buy u one as well k » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « QUOTE(lsm1991 @ Oct 25 2016, 05:58 PM) ehh i LOOVE manuals .... i actually hunted around for quite a while to find a manual car (heck i paid more for that). though admittedly, they aint as fast as the fancier autos. Heck seeing where cvt's are headed... i better start getting used to being the slowest shifting thing on the road. **oh ya GT86, BRZ almost the same thing, wearing dif clothesthat gif pains me. And yeah i agree.... scoobies with no siputs.... i cannot accept. (have heard that the FA has potential... though im a very old fashion guy... still likes 4g63's and its steel closed decked goodness) yea, manual ftw! RPM matching is good for both cars and bike, and mine both manual
