Whoever the soar high in Sime Darby (who now owns UMW 🤦🏻‍♂️) responsible in pricing the 1.5L NA B-seg Korean SUV at 150K should be sacked.

Today might as well get a brand new WR-V below 100K. At least there are still buyers.
Turbo SUVs avaliable include Ativa, X50.

Crete most likely only display unit probably zero buyers how to get parts?
*
i check at data.gov total only 142 unit register until today which probably already include the preregister unit. they also include free servicing for 5 years too. what do u think, still not a good deal?

i already test drive the car, except for the performance, the rest such as handling n ride seem better than the previous version of hrv. im yet to try the new hrv. anyways, seem its really a segment B suv bar perfomance.

wrv outside good looking. inside looks like a 50k cars. some more lack of equipment haha
ativa, like wrv, A-seg suv n quite small for me. mazda cx3 also the same.
cherry omoda also arround 100k now but reputation damage already after the viral incident.

dilema

Many people complain that X50 did not have enough spares for parts breakdown during their warranty period.

How much spare parts do you think Sime Darby will stock up with profits made from selling 142 units of Creta?

But it seems that you have already decided this is a good deal. All I can say is good luck. 😇

I still havent bought yet, tomorrow last day for this month rebate for the cross. More in favour of the cx5 or either the Toyota cross hybrid but the foot brake…. Still thinking if I should just get the cx-5 now or wait until next year for the facelift cross. But the agent told me only early next year available and won’t have 8k discount and they usually increase price by 10% but he said not confirmed.
*
dont rush bro. a better deal might coming in the next few days/month. myself planning to buy a car since March this year but until today haven't bought yet. somehow deals from SA keep getting better n better. proton 7-8k rebate until today still available. honda steering rack issue model up to 12k. toyota cc hyrid 8k rebate always available. cheery 8k or free maintenances. Mitsubishi pickup up to 22k. latest hyundai suv 50k. i went to mazda showroom yesterday, only cx3 got promo. mazda rarely got rebate. why dont u try test drive jaecoo j7

Honda SA gave me 14k off for the civic. But I not so keen. The Mazda SA from KL willing to offer 5k off but the JB  branch only offer 2k.
For the Toyota, I really don’t like the foot brake. So means I need to wait for the facelift version unless they give even more offer next month. This month the SA willing to give 9k off. Is JAECOO reliable?
*
dont go for civic, steering rack still got problem. i did confirm with honda SA also. that mazda 2-5k discount probably his/her own commission so it depends on the SA. jaecoo brand new. unsure. but the engine n chassis same with tiggo 7 pro. im in tiggo 7 pro owner whatasap group. manage to sneak in because it is also on my watchlist. so far most of the complain minor sound here n there probably panel fitting and finish problem. and then 1-2 have low engine oil level after few thousand km ride. overall no major issue so far. jaecoo should be the same

Thanks!
I have increased my budget to 100k lol.
Initially looking at Persona but few owners didnt recommend it

If you looking for a fun car to drive , not too high tech then try look for pre register suzuki swift sport. Or pre register Hyundai kona/creta. All below 100k.

Thanks for the advise. Does it help if I ensure all the major service item are checked out or replaced before taking this?
*
Yeah but ensure small item were replaced as well. Example if the previous owner changed absorber. Make sure he/she also did replace the absorber mounting/bearing/ coil spring set. another example brake disk+ brake drum+ brake pump. Lower arm+stabilizer link+stabiliser bush. Etc etc. car part are link together and if you just change 1 part only, there will be times down the road the other part will failed or uneven wear and tear.Check aircond service record as well. If previous owner did all that, maybe its a good purchases. If not, calculated first how much u need to spend to replace all these wear n tear and whter it worth it. Keep in mind interest rate for used car very high too. Other than that its a good car. Proven n reliable. Spare part availability also no problem. So, good luck bro.

Yea but I dont mind a used seal which is only a year old. So far pro and cons of seal vs EQA 250

Seal:
Pros: Faster, better battery, faster charge, longer distance
Cons:  not much apart from the china built stigma.
EQA:
Pros:Nicer interior (for me personally) and one of the cheapest mercedes you can get for a 2023 year built.
Cons: small boot space, only 190 hp, slower charge, maintenance costs might be scary high.

Sime darby autoarena at bukit jalil last weekend got lot of pre owned unit ev deals. Byd seal premium 140k. For Atto 3 around 100k.
