Currently considering Kia Rio 3, Mazda 2 & Honda Jazz Need advice / suggestions for comparisons cos I am noob in cars. Also should I buy now or wait till festive season promo? I saw some promo from dealers trying to push 2018 new cars at lower price point. Are these cars worth buying? |

Dear sifus,
Would like to seek your thoughts and opinions. I m currently looking to buy a new car (not considering used cars cos I don’t know how to inspect cars, wouldn’t know if the car has been involved in accidents or submerged in flood water). Budget: below RM150k, the lower the better... hehe Brands that I don’t want: Proton and Perodua (both cars I had were Perodua, looking to try other brands) Type: hatchback, compact SUV, sedan with short rear like Honda City is fine... Usage: Mainly city driving in Klang Valley, on weekdays mostly just drive to work if working in office Things I look for in order of priority: Value for money, reliability, efficient fc, looks good n modern... I prefer higher cars but that’s not a dealbreaker... Also, I see most models now comes with Hybrid option. Is it worth getting a hybrid or better stick to normal petrol cars? I am aiming to keep this car for the long term, hopefully can reach the 10 years mark. Many thanks in advance |

QUOTE(dogbert_chew @ Dec 28 2022, 10:32 PM) If you prefer shorter cars (in mm) Thanks for your feedbacks. In terms of reliability, between Honda vs Toyota, which one is better ya? Cos in the past few years, I have seen news about these two brands recall certain batches of their cars. Yaris 4140 City Hatch 4345 HR-V 4385 Vios 4425 City Sedan 4550 Can go test drive these models above by just visiting UMW and Honda outlet. Anticipated low mileage & less things to go wrong, just stick to cheaper normal petrol cars no need hybrid. Also, will Hybrid really save us petrol cost in the long run? |
