With Perodua's car structure thinning out, plus the warranty requiring going back to SC for the service, it's definitely not my top pick for now. Yeah, I had a friend who owned a Kizashi – no major issues with maintenance because most parts is interchangeable with Accord. But his gearbox was sluggish and it's due for a replacement, but he could accept the sluggishness and continue driving it. Price was attractive to my dad, but not to me because the annual cost is roughly 2k for road tax and insurance alone.

We traded in a 2011 Saga FL for scrap metal value when I bought the MC3. Kinda regret it. But the Campro fuel efficiency was terrible, so it's also not my top pick for now.
