Correct, forgot about the ABS on Axia Rahmah. If it me, which I had done it many years ago, bought a used 2015 1.6 Iriz Premium with all safety aspects, ABS, airbag. Just that the Punch CVT needs to accept its flaws, the scooter sounds as well kinda high rpm at 110kmh. But the price for used is a steal price.

Axia has been my daily for 10year+

Reliability wise is pretty good for me, never had a broke down experience, my biggest cost ever was AirCond compressor and cooling coil replacement at RM1k+

Other than that not much other big cost down the road. Few years back did engine and fueling system cleaning with LiquiMoly then engine response is noticeably restored close to younger age.

However if you are getting a much older Axia/Bezza, remember to change transmission oil and also transmission oil filter. One time thought my gearbox was done for due to not shifting gear, an oil + filter change solved the problem. These little P2 gearboxes could cost RM5k or more for overhaul/repair.

hi /k, was wondering if a 2023 proton persona premium , the latest facelift one with the brown colour seat, worth the price for around 49k with stated Mileage about 29k km.

but if insist on persona here are a few things for a quick rundown both good and bad
1. not fuel saving due to heavy car but some would say thats a good thing cuz planted
2. cvt jerk not everyone can accept even after all the tuning from each facelift
3. but this model year interior quite good looking got armrest p2 competing car this price dont have. and i like the aircond dials. rear view mirror got usb for easy dashcam somemore.
4. dashboard squeak and rattle down the road
5. and check for the radiator cuz alot owners report rust which result in overheat
6. check if maintain service with proton bc if not cannot claim free power window failure

other than that, 6 airbags, isofix, folding mirror, auto headlight, ok la this car. but i'd wait see new saga macam mana first.

i reckon the new saga price will touch above 50k judging the specs and upgrade by the leaks, also from the leaks the body looks the same, so probably interior space will pretty much the same with current saga right.
loading carseat or stuff is probably easier on the persona considering the size differecens.
But you're not wrong too for waiting the upcoming saga though.

agree on above. Try ask people who already drive and own a Campro engine, all saying the same thing related to FC. Its an old tech engine, and old VVT system (believe only intake side). The most unconventional thing is they use CVT - Punch, but driving at 110kmh, the RPM = the previous 4-gear auto.

One main reason haven't owned a Proton since Mitsu days till my X50 since I cruise at 140, the rev will be too high

If you can share more info (via the standard format), easier to recommend. What are your needs, usage, even dislikes.

Else someone may just type - Corolla Cross HEV thinking perhaps you are used to Toyota support structure with your present Vios.

Sub 150k, H6 Hev is such a strong all rounder...for me la

Any recommendation for a car with these criterias:
1. Below 60k, but expandable to 80k if necessary
2. Age of car below 5 years, new also ok
3. Don't mind small car
4. Use for going to work and back, fetch children nearby. max 30km daily.
5. Easy to maintain, I don't have familiar mechanic nearby, in Penang Island.
6. Must NOT be manual.
7. 4 seater
8. Comfort and safety, I am worried about the Bezza tin kosong concern is it really one hit and all going to heaven?

2nd hand ativa. easy to get in and out, more airbags than bezza. not as bad as the bezza or axia, but it is still a thin car. but imo a great choice for pure city driving.

2020 vios & city i see there are units around 60k. i like this gen vios and city. great space and utility.

alzas and myvis will be under 60k as well. but tbh unless gunning for the pre-fl versions, perodua just go for new. unless you know the car history.

here's a more atas option that will hit that 80k. camry 2.0gx >2016. must be gx for updated safety. its quite alot older than 5 years but i think its still a good deal. but harder to maintain cuz direct injection engine.

Then dont have to worry about familiar mechanic as can send to official service centre under warranty first 5 years. Enough time to scout out reliable ones for after warranty period.

But P2 cars are eggshells. One major collisions by heavy vehicle its bye bye kudasai entire family enter heaven. Thats why it has lots of active safety systems to try prevent accidents but if lorry-kun fated to isekei you then its your time. 🤐

If this is a deal breaker, then test drive new Proton when it launch
2025 Q4 Saga new 1.5L engine est 50-60K
2026 Q2 S70 Exec with new 1.5T 4-cyl engine est 70-80K

Edit: new Ativa X is 63K, no need get used unless budget 40-50K
