No joke that these cars are sought after until converts from Mitsubishi Lancer Cedia to Evo 7 are floating around 60-80k range nowadays, and the basic 1.8cc auto model hasn't gotten cheaper and for a 2005-2007 model floating around 25-30k they're snapped up as soon as they're put on sale. 2009 Toyota Camry Aurion - if you're looking for something newer then this might be the gem for you, this is a rare nutcase job where they jammed the 3.5cc v6 from the vellfire into a Camry then as if that's not enough they plonk in a supercharger as well. QUOTE(kesuki17 @ May 21 2021, 03:08 PM) On handling alone, if u happy w Bezza, then Axia will do fine.If you felt the Bezza like sampan and need something better, eg. For highway drive, then Saga handles better but at the expense of higher fuel and lower resale in future. |

Budget 20-40k (sedan, 2nd hand)
Cars in mind Polo sedan (not vento or tsi model, aiming for 6speed model) Elantra md Kia cerato k3 Not too old, at least 2013/2014. Open for suggestions of other model 😊 This post has been edited by BlurGuy1992: May 22 2021, 08:35 AM |

QUOTE(kesuki17 @ May 21 2021, 10:06 AM) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « I believe if you need a car NOW then you don't really have a choice. As far as I know, due to shortage of microprocessors alot of cars cannot be produced right now. However, Proton got stock for Persona/Iriz/Exora/Saga. These are the facelifted last hurah for these cars with internal design. Next gen will be Geely/Volvo stuff. QUOTE(BlurGuy1992 @ May 22 2021, 08:33 AM) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Polo Sedan is the older model, it is now called Vento. Basically it is the same product with different name. The NA with 1.6MPI uses a 6 speed aisin slushbox. Overall, probably the most reliable conti you can buy for that budget. And usually you can get it pretty new compared to other brands. 2015 Mazda 3 - it might be an older model and only 1600cc but based on your budget this would be a better value. Polo Sedan/Vento is a b-segment car but the Elantra/Cerato are c-segment cars, you want a c-segment but if you choose an Altis/Civic it is going to be expensive or old, then Sylphy/Fluence has gearbox issues. That leaves Mazda and of course you get abit lesser spec as this is the 1600cc model but at least it still looks good today, has half leather seats and from certain angle looks like the mazda6. Upkeep about the same as elantra/cerato but those are low volume korean cars you might have difficulty getting some parts for them which will land you at the 3s and that is going to cost u a bomb. |
