CX-5. But then, one is SUV and one is sedan. What is your own preference?

I would prefer SUV, as I am now driving sedan. Would like to try on something new. Just the CX 5 is about 15k off my budget., wondering if it is worth to fork out this extra 15k.

Glad you found the answer. Ada kemahuan ada jalan. Extra 1.5k downpayment, balance do loan installment.. pay for something you really like and no regrets.

If you are thinking about buying a used car, check Whatmycarworth. It has a lot of helpful tips.

The current best beater car is any 1.3 or 1.5 Myvi.
Don't get the 1.0 manual.
Or any other funny models from Perodua, the mass quantity of myvi guarantees maintenance cost will be low.
And it would be sufficient pep on highways since you'll be travelling between kajang and serdang.

I just went back this showroom yesterday, quite impressed by the looks and technology.
Nice ride height same like Harrier, not high SUV like Fortuna where you need to climb up with step ladders, ride height of the seats is as high as your butt so easy in/out.
Design front mcm Audi, back mcm Porsche, got auto boot and alot of other stuff.
For about 113k for 5 years free service and 8 years warranty it is a decent deal the only thing within this pricing is Honda HRV, Haval H2 and Proton X70 where the Haval and Bordward would be full spec cars for the price, Proton would be medium spec, the HRV would be lowest spec.

I'd say go down to Glenmarie and test drive these cars then make a decision but test drive them in this order

1. Honda HRV
2. Perodua Aruz
3. Proton X70
4. Mazda CX3 & CX5 (I think your budget is enough for CX3 but CX5 might stretch it too much)
5. Borgward BX5
6. Haval H2

search mudah.my for Nissan Murano ... starting from RM22k for front wheel drive.

I'd say it's better than equivalent era Toyota Harrier due to keyless entry and extra side cam as standard.

1. Brand : Suggestion welcome!
2. Budget : up to RM110k.
3. New/Used/Unreg : New.
4. Specs : Full.
5. Transmission : Manual
6. NA or FI : Any
7. Type : 4WD Single cab.
8. Remarks : Preferably engine did not exceed 2.5L.

Currently I am looking for a new single-cab truck. I have my eyes already on models from Toyota Hilux, Nissan Navara and Isuzu D-Max. The truck will be used to haul things like soft-drinks and other grocery items.

So what is the best suggestion for the truck I should buy. My priority lies with easier/cheaper maintenance and after sales support. I am in Sabah. Suggestion from outside the models I have already listed is welcome.

Thanks.

Toyota Hilux is the most robust choice. Reliable and solid. Maintenance is also ok. Sabah no worries about 4x4.
