even 2months playing, im still got no luck in dungeon drops, all TALTS and cheap recipe..hahaha..for me, dungeon 200 give more chances because many high end weapon recipes drop there (Catacombs)..hehe..only manamana is the most exp for lv200...if u lucky..me, no luck yet..even catacombs

1. So its normal for people to make multiple characters leveled to 100 to play test their builds?
answer : not really normal, but its easy to make lv100 character, i think around 10hours play time.
you can get to lv200 within 48hours playtime if u know what you're doing.
Because the game have alot of changes/choices, thats why people keep making alt.

2.What I'm worried about is sinking time and money in to a character only for the continual expansion of classes to make everything wasteful later on. Am I overthinking this?
Answer : No, you are correct. Rank 8 will out by Oct and nearly kill most the existing build based on rank7. So you cant really expect if Rank9 or Rank10 going to kill your build again etc...
Just play along whatever it is. If you dont like how it is, then probably TOS not your type of game.

3. Well, its been pretty fun so far, so going to keep playing.
answer : heheheh, u in varena? wanna join my casual guild? planning to get everyone to lv330 by december, so next year can join gvg or any big event.

4.Also, and this is of the utmost importance, how do I get a BATTLE HAMSTER!? like Ymint in the ss above? xD
answer : you need to join a guild, guild level must be 7, then you fight the guild event and tame the hamster/guinea pig.

you can quest till lv50, then dungeon to lv70, then quest to lv90, then quest to lv100... then dungeon/mission/quest to lv200 within 48hours game play

no need to grind item as quest reward equipment good enough for this game

just get to lv220 asap as you will farm late game item from there on

Token +30% exp, TeamLevel +exp%, ExpTome, Grinding correctly, Not wasting time chatting etc....

thats 48 ingame hours....

you can play 1hour per day, you will get to lv200 in 48days.

if you play 3hours per day, you get to lv200 around 15days.
