Anyone of you use the Trapo car pet mat? Which is cheaper and easier to maintain as compare to those coil carpet mat but not sure whether lasting or not..

Whole car include the boot area around RM300+ include padding at the driver side which to be is acceptable.. anyway, they didn't done any car mat for Sienta yet haha.. so they will go to Toyota show room to take the measurement.. anyway guess will buy one from Trapo instead of the coil mat

No time to start the poisoning.. still thinking whether or not to install the roof mounted monitor but mostly just wait for another year or two as high resolution monitor is still quite expensive

Thats correct.. guess so far if without the free upgrade, best discount for Nov is 4.5K and perhaps can negotiate for free AVN upgrade plus 3k discount which make up around 5K in total

Original 3k from Toyota plus 1.5k from the SA so total is 4.5K.. This is what I knew from a potential buyer feedback from Sienta Malaysia FB group..

My best FC is around 16.2KM/L and 2nd and 3rd is around 15.xKM/L. So far so good with very stable drive as compare to avanza.. I might need to release bit of tire pressure as guess the SA mention the air pressure is too much when came out from the distribution center.. cause feel the suspension is a bit hard especially when going through those yellow bar line.. Anyway, overall it is much better as compare to Avanza in terms of comfort, stability, driving experience, steering handling, etc.. 3rd row is much more comfortable when compare with Avanza beside the AVN really good as at least capable to playback MP4 movie format and did the interlock bypass and able to view movie when driving.. but not sure why suddenly the GPS got no sound which might need to go back to Shorty shop to fix it..

I am always using the ECO screen to monitor my driving performance and always trying my best to keep the bar running at the acceptable range as to achieve higher FC.. somehow things like traffic jam is something which can control so those will eat out fuel easily.. If you are driving at 90KM/H at the highway think probably you can achieve much better FC..

I installed the 3m door shield at shorty place and so far no more wind noise but certainly you will still able to heard the engine noise when step on it hard enough to pickup at the hill or overtaking.. think can live with it for now and awaiting for the Trapo mat to make available.. hopefully it will be able to cover until the plastic step next to the sliding door as seen like that parts easily scratch ..

That's normal as the fan behind is really loud when you turn on the high speed. So far I only use level 1 most of the time.

For the Trapo mat, I am still waiting for them to quote me and also show me the picture once they got it available.. as you can see from their website, it is also yet to have any pictures.. might need to follow-up with that lady again.. but she promised me to send me some pictures within this week.. Would expect around RM300 to cover the whole car..

Think AVX is easier as no GPS and there is a shop in Kota Damasara which they will only charge RM40+ as to do the bypass for AVX..anyway, the method they use is different as not using any adapter cable to bypass but just lift up some signal and grounding some signal..but still work.. no wire cut anyway.. so think should be ok

Alternatively you may visit shorty shop to get the bypass adapter which will be more than RM100 I think for AVX.. AVN he is charging RM165 exclude GST..

It is different material.. did saw the actual trapo mat at the Toyota Setia Alam show room from the SA.. feel bit hard.. but not sure about its reliability.. As compare to coil car mat, guess only things is sometime difficult to wash out as dust, dirt and stone does trap inside and accumulating after time.. so was looking for alternative and this is how I come across with Trapo beside think Trapo is cheaper.. The SA is recommending trapo as compare to coil mat..

I did contacting the Trapo sales person, they are still in development and they did show me the cupboard cut out which I am requesting them to cover the plastic stepping area next to the sliding door

Yes and waiting.. pushing them to include the plastic door step area but yet to get their confirmation.. hopefully they will have the actual unit available soon.. cause my car is not getting more dirty without any mat

Guess the car is really heavy especially when you want to start moving from still beside it is equip with CVT which typically cannot compare with 4AT in Avanza with the same engine.. Anyway, when it is up to speed, i.e around 100KM/H, you will feel the smooth moving and acceleration even with little force on the pedal..

Anyway, in terms of fuel saving, guess Ahmad managed to get 20+KM/L with light footer for 50+KM distance.. think those should be highway.. think if the car are equip with Start/stop, it could probably get slightly more fuel saving, i.e those JDM version in Singapore but seen like not many really like the start/stop feeling which is pretty normal particularly for Hybrid car..

Just if you want power, this car is not for power or speed but it does serve the work for family car with fuel saving.. really need to get use to light footing whenever I look at the KM/L bar moving up and down will always alert me do not step too hard..

Anyway, there are two holes at the rear aircond which I suspect it is use to mount the rear panel display.. but I didn't install any as wife not happy with kids watching movie all the time.. so just enable the front AVN player to be able to play video when driving will be good enough for now..

When you install the bypass cable, there will be a video out cable from the front player to the read player or maybe you can connect those to the generic headrest monitor too..
