QUOTE(Delirium @ Jan 16 2007, 03:16 PM) People who have downloaded the patch please find a place somewhere local and host it. I only have one mouse to bite. Could not locate the exact file. It looks like running the same exact patch for before but maybe for TBC version? Not sure. But the download took around 10-20 minutes on streamyx.I don't think u need to run previous patch since TBC should be able to detect it automatically. But I did download all patches prior to getting TBC. So I can't say for sure. Update: Weird, the patch put went back to 2.0.3.6299 instead of 2.0.5... But the download took around 10-20 minutes on streamyx. Guess what... another patch download after that. It seems that it puts TBC and redownloaded 2.0.3.6299... not sure which one it is downloading now.I don't think u need to run previous patch since TBC should be able to detect it automatically. But I did download all patches prior to getting TBC. So I can't say for sure. Update: Weird, the patch put went back to 2.0.3.6299 instead of 2.0.5... Lucky i'm doing this right now or it will take god knows how long. On the bright side, it feels faster. Slow but still fast... u know laa that feeling. *Bite mouse* i have this for 1 hour now and still haven't log on with all the installation/update/etc rofl This post has been edited by manoque: Jan 16 2007, 03:28 PM |

Read the TBC FAQ on the Gen Forums posted by a blue.
TBC is v2.0.0, so after you install TBC, your version (which should be v2.0.5 if you have the current latest version since last weekend), will be rolled back to v2.0.0. So from TBC v2.0.0, you need to get it back to v2.0.5 so that you can connect to the servers. Therefore, you need to use the v2.0.0 --> 2.0.3 patch, then log on, then it'll automatically patch from v2.0.3 --> v2.0.5 (should be about 10-15 min download). |

patch v2.0.0 --> v2.0.3 is a big patch about 150mb+.
Download from Filefront or something dont use the Blizzard downloader for this. Or the other day, someone on these forums had the patch hosted locally, i think it was Noor Hidayat's website. Dunno whether its still up. |

QUOTE(Tentris @ Jan 16 2007, 03:28 PM) Read the TBC FAQ on the Gen Forums posted by a blue. K, let's see... just now 2.0.3.6299...TBC is v2.0.0, so after you install TBC, your version (which should be v2.0.5 if you have the current latest version since last weekend), will be rolled back to v2.0.0. The second downloaded one is... 2.0.5.6320 same as before. I donno if u can run the patch already downloaded before. Maybe someone can comment on this. For me, i just let it get downloaded. So, that 2.0.3 to 2.0.5 is like 3MB, it would take 30 minutes maybe on streamyx lol. Unless u have it stored somewhere b4. I am looking for it. Yes you can run the patch v2.0.0 --> v2.0.3 again. As long as you saved the executables and mpq files. Then from 2.0.3 --> 2.0.5 is a short download from Blizzard servers.
