The reality is, the number of PC hardware enthusiasts are getting a lot lesser than say 10 years ago. The buying power got much weaker already. Those golden age of Low Yat booth is long gone. I remember, 10 years ago I had to wait for the sales assistant to serve me at booth because they had too many customers. But now?  sweat.gif

Hmm, I don't think number of PC hardware enthusiast getting lesser... nowadays there's more online retailer, so really no point going to Lowyat plaza when you can have the hardware delivered straight to you. These online retailer can offer a better price and discount compared to LYP seller (just look at the latest gemfive GTX1070 craze). Usually LYP seller only give RM5 discount lol.

Plus, going to LYP, you'll need to pay parking fee too.

NVIDIA P6000 Quadro with fully enabled GP102 (3840 cores) and 24GB GDDR5X ram.

Seems NV is releasing Pascal at full speed. Volta will be coming late next year? NV seems to refine their SM architecture perfectly with Pascal already (optimum ratio of SMs, ROPs, Polymorph in a single GPC).

Note: NV's contract for Oak Ridge Summit supercomputer is due 2017. Summit is designed to use NVIDIA Volta.

most of the 1060s can reach 2Ghz with boost. just that the mini Zotac uses intel sunflower heatsink, so may be a little louder/hotter.

I think the main point of concern for that Zotac Mini is whether it can hold its clock (especially overclocked to 2.0GHz) during gaming. So far no website reviewed it yet. sad.gif

Amazing how GTX1060 consume 62W to achieve the same performance as RX480 that is using 139W. They could easily put the GTX1060 in a laptop lol (70W at 1600MHz).

According to tomshardware, GTX1060 can run with only 61w power consumption.

We're gonna get GTX1050 with no power connector.  thumbup.gif

Looks like NVIDIA gonna dominate laptop market again.

You just miss the Steam summer sales whereby both were on sales.

Both can be purchased from Steam.

Rise of Tomb Raider can be also purchased from Ubisoft own digital distribution software.
*
cry.gif I also missed the summer sales. Wanting to buy ROTR and Doom during sales.

Lol, kinda funny that GTX1060 is cheaper than RX480 in Malaysia (with all the discount coupons)..

Titan X (Pascal) SLI review. 5k res lol

http://www.gamestar.de/hardware/grafikkart...10,3276621.html

QUOTE
Under load, the Titan X remains relatively quiet, but the GP102 chip heats up to 85 degrees, and the clock rate then leveled off at about 1,600 MHz

FPS performance lands perfectly into doing pCars in VR finally! I had to drop settings like mad on my current rig, and this one is just perfect! rclxm9.gif

Seems only Titan X (Pascal) can be regarded as true 4K GPU.

GTX1080 need not apply. devil.gif
