Have to make do with old SLI bridge until the price insanity of the new HB bridge goes away.

Just need to get sleeved PCI-E cable for the w GTX 1080 G1 and I'm done.  At least till HB SLI Bridge price become reasonable.

Want to ask u guys, my cpu temperature hit max 68c and gpu hit max 71c after 1hour+ while playing witcher 3 with all max up setting and hairworks on at 2560x1080p resolution , ambience tempreture is around 28c-32c, is that normal ? My rig setup is i7 6700k + noctua d14 cooling and stock fan with palit gtx1080

kianweicIdle temp with room ambient temp 30C was around 41C top card, 39C bottom card. Just ran Firestrike Ultra Stress Test (+140 Mhz to clock/ +582 Mhz Memory). Toasty 85C for top card.

I think have to DIY something to stop the hot air coming from the bottom card from getting suck into the top card fan.

Correct. I just enabled Adaptive V-Sync in 3D Setting --> Global settings. If no V-sync, my PC was wailing like crazy as the GTX 1080s try to churn out 70-80 fps 4K max during GTA-V benchmark. The noise was so loud, I kid you not that my wife actually asked me if it was raining outside last night. I had to lie to her (luckily it rained yesterday afternoon, so outside was still wet). 

Few years back then is a dream now Happy to live within the dream. Nvida and their technologies are solid and stable.
Gsync all the way with 100hz.

Depends lor, Gigabyte GTX 1060 G1 Gaming at RM 1459 costs a bit more but factory OC kau kau and can OC further.

If you can get the GTX 1070 at RM 1770 then it's a no-brainer.

Just saying that RM 1399 vs RM 1459 GTX 1060, there are some advantages by paying just RM 60 extra.
