i can hear it quite clearly with my speakers even though i do have really high end headphones that i prefer not to use when gaming.

but like i said, i am no pro player, i don't earn money from Overwatch, and i certainly play it for fun - even though winning is fun and losing not so much, i do not stress about it and i certainly don't make compromises as to how i game. (speakers vs headphones, high dpi mouse and high sensitivity vs low etc)

About junkrat i more afraid of his main attack spam then his ulti.. Cus i am zarya main and solider 76. Sometimes zen and lucio..

With zarya I will go and find that tyre ether shot it down or us my bauble shield to absorb it... Or save people with it..  Same as tracer bomb.. But tracer is abit harder to predict..

well, false perception on 2.1 vs 5.1 surround. I used to have Roccat Kave 5.1 and it gives good position of enemies. Now I use music grade 2.1 headphone and i also can tell the position of enemies. Decent/good headphones can simulate footsteps pretty well.

not impossible, however that varies between individuals.
i have gamed on 5.1 as well and yes it IS a LOT of difference compared to my 2.1 (look up my pc/headphone/speakers specs on my website.)

however since my creative 5.1 died, i also lazy to get another 5.1 because:
- not so try hard gamer anymore
- don't see any good 5.1 out there with similar price range besides the 2k ranging edifiers when i only spent 900+ for my creative back in the days

your 5.1 whatever headphones no matter how GOOD it is, is still an emulated experience.

remember sound only comes in a stereo direction which is your left ear and right ear with the headphone drivers close to said ears.
it is better than a 2.1 speaker setup no doubt, however it will NEVER come close to a proper 5.1 setup and claiming otherwise would be delusional.

i could talk further about sound reproduction, however it would be very off topic and such things are better left to the audiophile sub forum and then again it would just get a lot of laughters/teasing bringing gaming in there
and yes in case you don't know already, audio is my other hobby.

well sorry, I saw him mentioned headphone and I assume you talk about headphone.

Guys, I suggest to use Plays.tv to auto record game sessions. It doesn't impact much on game fps and auto manage your hardware space. Let's say you set 10gb for recording, it will remove old sessions and keep recording current game session.

Not so sure about how computer 5.1 surround works.
But home theater system, usually is Left, Right, Center, Back left, Back Right and one Subwoofer.

For the placement like distance, direction or angle, it doesn't matter much, coz you can calibrate.
Home theater system have a surround calibrate mic for you to place in where you sit, and the speaker will make some sound for the mic to receive and calibrate the speaker to provide you full surround experience.

I remember I saw that in some windows setting before. Correct me if I am wrong.

Hmm.. Key slightly delay.. Right now my mouse have that problem my right click mouse for sime reason sometimes it not working quite right.. like a delay or on response at all..  I noticed it when i try using zarya right click beam boom it didn't launch the boom and ana scope didn't finish it animation to scope, and i have to scope again..

Other that that did see much.. Maybe my mouse spoil already..

actually solo queue is not that bad of a experience for me lol, or maybe i am just lucky.

met few "hero mainers" but still manage to pull it through given that the other 5 of us are picking around the hero mainer and we did quite well. it's really annoying though, meeting something like a 56 rating lv50 who only plays reaper ( 30+ hours on reaper, like dammn)
