using stock browser? try using tuga caf browser. im using it, better than stock browser. can block ads and i never noticed any scrolling lag. imo 650 is better than 800. on par with 808. gta sa is laggy on 801. on 650 can max it out easily without lag.

Yup, it is the most stable but im back using miui because of that earphone jack bug lol. If bored with miui can change back to that rom
Battery is more or less the same. I got 7 hours sot when it is 40%. In miui also the same. Apart from the earphone jack bug the sound volume is lower than miui. Overnight drain is about 1% or 2%. I only sync contact so yours may vary.

i wont recommend redmi especially to non-techies..

im a long tme samsung user..  miui gives me headaches like no apptray.. permissions, delayed viber and whatsapp notification, apps closing automatically,
gps not working.

but with google and lowyat all problem is solved. but if you use it out of the box.. its a nightmare.
