Try disabled USB debugging and open My Computer see whether there is Redmi Note 3 or not..

IT will stay unlock, however if it is locked again, you can always unlock it in any rom that you have.

The ROM is for different types of phone. Special Edition of Redmi Note 3 was released in Taiwan only.
Dont flash or it will brick.
Only flash Global Stable ROM if you want to stay stock.
Wait for Marshmallow to release for our phone.

Although i dont deny that there are someone already ported the roms,still i suggest wait for future official updates for our phone instead if you want stability.

Yup. You can unlock using global stable rom.
But why not give a try? Usually China Dev ROM works much better in terms of unlocking.
Though i suggest you to wait a few days before trying to unlock again

Yes correct.. Quite stable for daily use.

Just make sure to backup everything using twrp especially EFS which contain imei information.

Use the modified ALKA TWRP. It has the efs backup function.

The same for me though.. Because basically the rom is still based on China Developer ROM.. Just few minor changes were made by the dev..

Xiaomi.eu version does not have Chinese bloatware.

Either you cut it urself, go to phone shop ask them cut or the best option is, go to the telco branch and request new nano sim.

Flash to China Stable ROM(Fastboot files) using MiFlash via EDL Mode.
Then flash China Developer ROM(Recovery files) using Updater App in China Stable ROM.

Depends on cases. Some may not be able to directly flash china dev rom.
Most advises that i gave came from the MIUI forum anyway.

Yup.. No problem at all. Check the settings at whatsapp and MIUI notification light settings.
