the site stated rs15000(highest spec), about rm900, with all the mark up price all that, maybe will reach rm1k+

Go to dev option, turn off mock location

If still a prob, go buy samsung s7 or iPhone hahahah
No really, other than turning off mock location, i don't know what else

I just received the Unlock bootloader permission SMS.

I am now on Global Stable ROM.

Can I unlock it straight or will I hv to flash to China rom stable then China Rom dev first before unlock?

If I need to flash over to China rom first before unlock then after unlock if I revert back to Global Rom, is my bootloader still remain unlock?

My ultimate goal is to stay with Global Rom, with unlocked bootloader, rooted and TWRP on my phone while running on Global Stable rom.

With this configuration, I believe I can no longer update using OTA right? I will have to flash .zip to update right?

What is I unlock the bootloader, root the phone but using original Mi recovery, will I still be able to update via OTA?

last time redmi note series and redmi note 2 series about 1 year apart.
this redmi note 3 and note 4 is just about 6 months

yes. if it doesnt work, flash to china dev.

you can temporarily boot into twrp using fastboot command and flash supersu but i doubt incremental ota will still work. because the system has been modified.
