7.3.7 its a battery hog... Damn already download via ota... Pending reboot... How do i cancel them.... Factory reset will do..?

i'm on 7.3.7 and its not battery hog. its fine for me don't know about others.
u can find the update.zip file in your internal memory and delete it.

I want to buy RedMi Note 3 Pro, 3gb ram, 32gb, Qualcomm hexa core 1.8 Snapdragon 650.

I need it urgently and don't want to buy online. Any shop in KL sell it? Do lowyat or satu gadget have?

one question. What's the difference between Original Imported Set(rm729) and Malaysia set(rm999)? same spec, 32gb, 3gb ram, snapdragon 650 etc... Is it worth to pay RM200+ extra for Malaysia set or what?

just warranty difference. If you are unlucky then too bad have to send the phone back to China. Pay shipping and long waiting time etc. If Malaysia set you can claim warranty locally.

No other difference as china set will be pre loaded with global rom by direct d.

Where is hidden setting to change launcher and home?

Search high and low for this

settings - system apps.. should be defaults app on bottom. then change it on launcher/home

also those on high wakelock or battery drain..makesure disable miui mi cloud gallery sync ..it will causing your device be awake even tho all the pictures synced.

prefer alternative such as google photos or dropbox coz micloud is damn slow for users outside china

How to disable them..? Like disabling apps in in seting install app..?

Thanks. For me it's in the setting installed apps. And default icon on the bottom. There only can find launcher.

Just bought my RedMi Note 3 32gb 3gb ram from Satu gadget, Love it so far it has been very smooth.

When i first got it it is 41% and now it is 27%, should I wait until 0% then I start to charge until full?

And also how do I add japanese and chinese keyboard? i was an Apple User and I just went to setting and I can add it instantly. Do I have to download Chinese and Japanese keyboard from app store?

Me and my brother got 2 units of RN3 Snapdragon 32gb variant off gemfive (itronics) last week and both are having problem with the sensors (magnetic compass, gyro, accelerometer all not working). Flashed to global rom 7.3.7 didn't help. Yes even tried to recalibrate but failed. Contacted the seller about it and they will send someone to pick up the phone from my home tmr for warranty. Anyone had/having the same problem?

That sucks. Lucky I got ori my thorus unit from sd mobile as I almost bought the ap unit from itronics. Although my phone no issues. I hope your problem gets solved soon.

Yes that teaches me not to save 120+ for AP next time. Lol. Anyway i wonder if this is software or hardware related as I've seen people all around the world reported the same problem in miui forum. Or certain batch of phones only.
