I'm not sure if anyone had posted this but most people uses this to play consoles on their monitor.

The only down side of this VGA box is that it doesn't fully support 480i. So if you want to play games (like Rayman) which only supports 480i, you are screwed ... but then again games nowadays will support 480p
IMO it's a lot better to find a monitor that supports S-video, composite, or component rather than using a vga box. Saves you a lot of hassle
