There are a few promoter companies around here, you can contact them for jobs. Some of the bigger ones; epromode.com, captivate.com.my, www.chimeraevent.com, fivesenses.com.my
Those smaller ones don't have a website, you can try look for other jobs in Asiaparttime.com

The most common ones are the one that requires you to work on Saturday & Sunday in supermarkets (sometimes in pharmacy like Guardian or Watson or Caring). The working hours are 12pm to 9pm. But if you get event kinda job, the working hours is 10am to 10pm. Normally if you do food related jobs, then looks doesn't really matter but at least maintain a clean & tidy look la. If you want those personal care jobs like shampoo etc, you may need slightly above average look & of course the pay is also a bit higher than normal.

I usually go to cidekick.com and the payment there is very high, but when I look at other applicants, I feel like did I do something wrong...because I'm so average n they're so above average, I wonder if tht is a norm here

I worked as a waitress bfr..very tiring, but the pay is very low RM5/hr, so i'm hoping to get smthg more

Different companies & different projects have different pay. But in all honestly, the most important thing for you is that your field supervisor is good so that you WILL get paid. Some field supervisors are lazy or incompetent, so your payment come late & or worse; no payment at all. Also good supervisors will know how to schedule a "permanent" job for you. Meaning every weekend there's work for you because a lot of companies have short term projects only which last for a month or two only. Few companies have long term projects.

How much you're getting from cidekick?

The most valuable element a promoter can have is mobility; the willingness to travel at least a bit. Then you'll be given jobs in multi places, so more opportunities.

So should I avoid those who posted n says payment 1mnth after job? Sounds too long that Im afraid they will forget abt it

Havent get any tought competition there in cidekick, many pretty supermodel girls applied there hahaha
But they posted there like RM400 for 3 days job with extra for transport, parking, food..

I see..I thought the appearance plays the main role or something

If the supervisor sucks, then yea late payment or no payment. You can't judge how good are the companies in paying until you work with them. So don't judge so soon by reading their advertisements.

Where are you living? I know those jobs in hypermarkets like Aeon, Tesco, Giant etc are plentiful & relatively easy to get. You just need to be in those companies database & they'll contact you whenever there's an opportunity nearby you.

You're still young, just brush up on your basic grooming & you'll be fine. Pretty models have their own market, so don't worry about competing with them.

Your 3 sizes and a pretty face does help in this u know ....

Hmmmm I think so, I mean idk...I don't like to selfie with sexy2 clothes and I dont like wearing thick2 makeup cause I think it's so fake and not me, but is that really what they want??

Don't worry about it la, I was from that industry. So no, 3 sizes or pretty face doesn't matter unless you're selling beauty products, beer, tequila, ciggies or those test tube sugar waters.

Sometime some projects requires older people especially those cooking related ones eg instant noodles, rice, milk powder, seasonings etc. As mentioned before, if you're doing projects like electronics, requires more knowledge than looks.
